What brought me back is the gameplay loop, really. That's all. To work together with 3 complete strangers, with limited communication, to overcome the odds of an overpowered killer. There are many small moments in this game that I treasure.

As for gameplay wise? Yeah, I do think it's getting worse. I think the game is getting bloated. It's an over designed mess when trying to cater to a very small group of people who take this silly little game too seriously. It was great with just a handful of survivors and a handful of killers. Now there's a billion perks I need to remember.

I'm not fond of the many smaller updates either. With the exception of seeing what my teammates are doing, with those small icons. Those are a great tool. Everything else is created as an attempt to balance an unbalanced game. It's never going to work. It's like pushing water uphill. They should just hard stop work on DBD, and make DBD 2 from the ground up. Streamline it. Cut on features. Get better code.

after 5 years of your review , what do you think of the new updates and those new changes including the nerfs/buffs to some perks and some game basics like (gen required time to be fully repaired (90 instead of 80 secs) and other Countdowns like breaking a pallet or a basic hit) , i know the game is still unbalanced and they didnt add that communication solution like u mentioned before , you hadn't touched the game for ages so i think you might have another opinion on some things that changed like the new HUD icons or other stuff
in general the game is getting worse i know but after this period of time of being inactive , what was the attractive thing that brought you back?

We already gave a camping killer 2k instead of 1k. Why make that 3k, or even 4k? Saving someone from the basement in this case was a bad idea. It was improbable for all of us to get away after unhooking you two.
