The game looks great, the game runs great, and the game clearly has attractive characters. Above that is the gameplay which is fantastic, alongside a wonderful soundtrack that really shines in the bossfights.
It's great.

This game is not a masterpiece and it definitely has issues. Some weird terrain where you should be able to walk and have to jump over the smallest of edges, some weapons (either due to the BP feature or other stats on the weapon) are borderline useless, and if you want to actually explore then any mobility frame piece with a low jump stat will kill your dreams faster than adulthood.

That said, I did enjoy this game. It's a mech game with all the mech customization that comes with, good enough variety of enemies (mostly just the same style of enemies with different weaponry), decent bosses. Everything was just pretty good.

It also had a demo, which is the only reason I got the game.

While some number of my hours in this game stem from leaving it running while doing other things to avoid the lengthy startup time - that is caused by one thing. My huge mod list.
This game is incredible on it's own although as it states it is a story generator, not a game to beat. You can play it to win but you generally won't have as much fun as you would by having themes for your runs.

In addition, the DLCs that have been made for this just greatly improve upon everything. It's definitely worth it.

This game was a great amount of fun either solo or in coop with friends, and the DLC they have created just make it better each time.
I definitely look forward to more.

Obviously I've played this for a long time. At this point it's just not worth it due to, unfortunately, more greed. DLC becoming pricier over time, and now not only a subscription but also a season pass option.
This combined with -as of yet- no real improvement in performance of the game (specifically late game without either playing on a very limited size map [which does not guarantee any benefit] or being completely genocidal and limiting your own empire as well as the AI) means I just can't really recommend the game anymore.

One of the best multiplayer games I have ever played. It is loads of action packed fun and excitement with or without friends and has a very active and listening developer team.
The goal of the developer is just to make the best game they possibly can and so far they've been succeeding beyond any expectation of any live service game.

It's great, dive and squish bugs.

This game fulfilled all of my desire for a new Armored Core game since my childhood experience of AC2.
I have two negatives for this game.
The first is the stagger mechanic.
The second is that there isn't more (yet, hopefully).
I want more missions in my body

It's good.
