Really good game, fun mix of Risk of Rain 2 vibes/aesthetics and Deeprock Galactic gameplay.
The upgrade system is really fun to try and min-max.

Few minor complaints:
Optional missions often spawn with parts of it inside terrain, sometimes making them impossible to complete.
There should be a crafting option to craft a completely random upgrade (both previously found or new upgrades as it can be pretty tedious just grinding missions hoping to get a new upgrade for a weapon).
Some weapons like the Lead Flinger have incredibly low xp gain for some reason.
Needs more variety in general (Missions, maps, characters, weapons and enemies).
UI could use some improvements, there's no number indicator for how much XP you currently have or need for next character/weapon level.
Some QOL changes needed, like the ability to name weapon/character loadouts, a summary of upgrade effects in the grid, weapon base stats + upgraded stats (Just to help give a better idea of how an upgrade affects your build).

Arguably one of the best rogue-lite games out there and one of the few games where I've bothered to complete every single achievement and collectible.

Plus performance wise it's really impressive, in my 274 hours of gameplay (at the time of this review), it has only ever crashed TWICE and the game only really starts to struggle if you have a ridiculous build 1-2 hours into a run and even then it's still manageable.

Excited for the new DLC because in my opinion what this game lacks the most is more survivors and more unlocks for survivors, whether it'd be abilities or skins. (Of course I'd also love more monsters, items and maps).

If you have even the slightest interest in rogue-likes or rogue-lites, this is a must play.

Absolutely littered with cheaters around 20k premiere rating, like 9 out of 10 games will have one or more cheaters, it's ridiculous.

Bing back the Overwatch system and fix the god awful anticheat...

PS: Been reviewing every suspicious game and have noted down cheater profiles to periodically check if they have VAC, not a single one of the 26 cheaters that I check have received a VAC ban yet...

The game at it's core is really good and has an incredibly rewarding skill ceiling when you put in the effort to improve, but ever since it was sold off to Epic Games, they have been actively working towards killing it, removing the game from Steam, degrading server performance, removed item trading, put fun extra modes on rotation and serious lack of content updates.

All they've done is remove features/content deeply loved by the community and pumped out cosmetic after cosmetic while increasing prices.

Burn in hell Epic.
