Even though I do not have a lot of time for gaming anymore, I still enjoy investing my precious 2h that night into wandering around in the vast world of Palworld, constantly finding new Pals, dying to them as they are way over my level.

Kickstarter-Supporter since Day 1.

I downloaded and tested every patch but never really got dragged in.

Now the game is ready. I love it and will play much much more in the near future.

Okay so here is my updated review:

In a few days this game will be released. There is still a lot to do, but this game will be a updated for free forever (as the developers said in their latest twitch). There are also still some lags but as soon as the game will be released there will be more servers across the world hopefully. While this does not sound very great, i changed my recommendation to HELL YEAH. Why? Because there happened so much in the last few months and so many new features where added that this game finally shapes up to something I always hope for.

A short list of things that are in this game now that finally make it a really cool Warhammer 40k Third-person RPG shooter:

* 4 Charakter-Slots with independend charakter progression
* Cool unlockable visuals
* Weapon-basis with lots of slots to customize them
* 4 very different factions with lots of classes and playstyles
* PVP, PVE and neutral Garrison-Lobbies to meet and train
* Persistent Worldmap
* A new Guild-system with (upcoming) guild vs guild playmodes
* And many more...

While there are still bugs, lags and balancing issues, the devs are really working hard to deliver what they are talking about and therefor i'm pretty sure that this game will get better and better with very frequent patches and updates.

Unfortunatelly, even for a early access game it's far too early to join.

They are pretty slow with new content, most of the promised features are still missing and their focus - in my opinion - is totally wrong. They try to tweak their melee-system as they fumble around with numbers, while the game itself is pretty boring.

As far is i know, they only have some servers in Canada, this is probably the reason for massive lags here in Europe.

Wait - at least another year - then come back and check if they did manage to make a fun game. I really hope it, because i love Warhammer 40k and the atmosphere of this game is already... not bad.
