I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that 2K have well and truly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up this years instalment keep in mind this is being written when patch 1.02 has been released and sure it has fixed some issues you can now insert logos into the game and apply them to your CAWS minor issue when the game is being played the logos move up 30 to 40 pixels when you play a match and sure some lighting has been fixed BUT and this is a big but the game is still unplayable while also shouldn't of been released it is a broken mess lets go into more issues...

2K Originals bump in the night 2Ks new fun idea which concept cool I for 1 love the wacky side of WWE games so bump in the night was a wicked start however, locking the game to 30 fps during the handicap match against Harper and Rowan needs to be fixed you may think well that just means you have more of a chance to kick out when thinking of the benefits nope here are some of the issues with that.
1. Inputs don't register properly
2. Counting still happens at a higher rate so instead of getting 3 chances at a normal kick out you get 2 (or 1 if its a finisher)
3.In the match when trying to perform a diving move to a grounded Harper the hit doesn't register you must hold square (or X depending on controller) that one took 3 attempts to figure out

Next lets move onto general gameplay the targeting is broken as everyone else has said, whenever you are looking to hit an opponent either it will miss like your trying to hit freaking Casper or if you're in multi man matches go to another opponent. Lets not get started on falling through the ring , ropes spasming about or the referee looking like he torn both his quads like Vince at the royal rumble.

One thing they did fix was it now says to hold R2 and Triangle for resiliency to work small fixes am I right not the mess that has been listed above as previously it only stated to press Triangle and it wouldn't of worked. However that to me shows laziness as that was such a minor thing that could've been done but they forgot to do it. Granted if I even reached that stage it's a miraclwe the game crashes so frequently that you're lucky to even get a match no matter where it is Universe Mode, 2K Towers and MyPlayer Towers (if you are doing a gauntlet it is nigh on impossible to finish therefore losing progress) heck even MyCareer.

MyCareer is not something I can comment on as I haven't finished it so I'll leave that for now.

Now my personal main mode Universe mode as already stated crashes frequently before matches however they added a new rivalry slot yay I guess. But it is still the same old thing nothing new bar a few extra cutscenes which only play when certain requirements have been hit, I wanted them to build upon universe mode form last year adding in the MITB which was a nice feature with the cases but adding on an extra rivalry slot and championship to a show doesn't appeal as improvement to me.

Sure you can now select up to 14 matches on a card and 3 shows can host a PPV but sometimes you aren't able to select matches to edit case and point I had 12 matches for my MITB PPV however I couldn't edit the ladder match nor my universal title match and it was because it was like the matches didn't exist however they appeared on the match card screen. Nevermind the fact that universe mode doesn't work if you insert a custom superstar from the creation suite after the begining.

Graphics so the graphics have taken a downgrade this year and baring the hair physics which is a issue just look at Bianca Belairs entrance form 2k19 to 2k20 and you'll see what I mean, some look great Keith lee for example but Molly Holly looks like a generic superstar someone made.

Last point the create an arena feature oh god they have ruined it again kind of the point of this entire thing but per say you wanted to have the new RAW Arena or SD well fat chance moving the titantrons bug out the Arena but I won't comment further on this.

Now I realise that 2k had to remake the game form the ground up due to Yukes leaving however, what they have put out can't even be described as 2k19.5 if it was then I'd be fine I liked 2k19 but it just feels like a massive step back and I'm sure many have mentioned it but this is the equivalent to 2k18 on the switch this has been such a botched release.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME UNTIL IT IS FIXED and that's a big if cause last time 2k had a WWE game like this they abandoned it after a few patches please don't waste your money on this broken mess of a game.

WWE 2K19 is something that I was hesitant to get on PC as I was transferring over from 2K18 on PS4 where the game had a great community with many different creators making great CAWS. However bar that the game last year wasn't fantastic the career mode was lackluster to say the least, while universe mode stayed the same as it has for years.

Therefore, going into 2K19 and going to a different platform I didn't know what to expect. While the community isn't as great in terms of creation MODs replace that which allows for previous years entrances and wrestlers models which have been changed to fit the new game e.g. CM PUNK.

In terms of the gameplay, the game feels faster which is good since last year it felt a bit slow for my liking but the gameplay is faster which is a bonus. Career mode is fantastic this year which I'm thankful for as stated before last years was so bad but this years felt fun and didn't feel like a drag to play through.

Downsides though is that universe mode hasn't changed much this year bar the inclusion of more run-in cutscenes for the money in the bank holder, being able to set the money in the bank case onto the show you wish and make some like an NXT MITB which allows the winner to challenge the NXT champion for example. Those things listed there are positive additions but rivalries after a certain length of time become repetitive and takes you out of the immersion of the game which leads you to try and create storylines yourself.

Overall I think that 2K19 is an improvement upon 2K18 and something that can be built upon in next years instalment if they continue with the fun and wacky Career mode and make some tweaks to Universe mode.

This game is genius in the way it works and how everything ties in together.
The soundtrack is just amazing.
If you ever just want to kill time then this is the game
"WARNING DON'T PLAY IF YOU ARE EASILY DISTURBED" I didn't think this would be that bad oh god heed its warning.
None the less 10/10 game.
This is my first visual novel complete and now I feel I'm addicted haha.
