Venom's cheeks are so clappable.

Let me begin by noting I've never been interested in the Warhammer franchise nor universe. I've always recognized a Space Marine, but I've never been as versed in lore as longtime enthusiasts. Nevertheless, I purchased Chaos Gate since I enjoy turn-based strategy games and the cinematic trailers were alluring.

Chaos Gate has essentially whisked me away into a different dimension, and I have no desire to play another game anytime soon. The only problems I've encountered have been small quality-of-life ones, and there were a few technical glitches upon release that, fortunately, I didn't have to endure like the majority of players.

For what this is worth:

I don't typically write reviews, but I genuinely hope you'll give Chaos Gate an opportunity. I believe the pricing of this game to be a steal considering all the experiences it offers.

Baldur's Gate 3 in very early access is still, for some reason, better than most games out there right now.

It's like Left 4 Dead, but it's also not.

Better than its previous version.

Sekiro, but it's actually not.

If you're looking for a "hands down" unique type of game, this is for you.

10/10 for me.

The only flaw I have with the game is the semi-poor voice acting. To combat this I swtiched to Japenese voices and it made the game much more enjoyable.

The most satisfying thing about this game is the combat system. Everything in battle is very fluid and some bosses can be hard to beat if you aren't dodging or blocking properly.
