Yes this is a good game.

This is also a terrible product. What game has enough secondary purchases that total more than its original cost? This stupid game. The maps are small for battlefield. yet they still want $200 for everything. These people do not deserve the praise they have gotten. They put in a little extra effort, and now that it is released, they just want money.

I was gifted this game by a friend, he absolutely loves this game. I will agree, this is probably the best not EOL shooter game i would say.
This is a thumbs down till i get free update big maps. and i mean big maps!!! But if on sale, it is worth it i would say. I am having plenty of fun.

I hope to make this a kinda short, but useful review.

Lets start with the fighting, that heart and soul of the game. it is very fun, almost exactly what i wanted. inside of battles my 2 complaints are, the lack of usable skill in battle for not having the second skill list. and the fact you character doesnt drop your sayain level when running out of ki. it use to be a vital part of battle management, i feel was core to the experience. so deep that it almost makes this a different game.

my second point is the challenges, or the lack of. there are no 100 round fights, there are no speacial what if fight challenges, there is no endless mode. they were where the replayability really came into play for me and my friends. and now they are just missing. its extremely saddening.

and lastly to my review, the campain. it is absolutely terrible, this is not reliving the dragon ball series, flashbacking though each available characters memories. the battles no longer have mid fight sequences that allowed it to be a story filled fight. some of the win condition to do alternate routes, like gohan vs dypso, are completely hidden. i beat dypso and got an ending, i beat him fast, and got a different ending. yet there is still an unopened path. i made sure to end it with frieze, got a different ending. am i suppose to finish it fast with frieza? if so it is not made clear in the slightest. also you dont even have to do character swaps to beat enemies on the campain. its purely optional. you only get to play the portion of the campaign that the character your on participated in. and even then, there is way fewer fight than in BT3. all they had to do was copy and paste BT3 campaign, and then add super in the same style. but no, they managed to do even less than that, its truly terrible.

BT3 was my absolute favorite DBZ game, and in the art of Sequels, they managed to ruin the IP. these games are suppose to envelope you in the DBZ world, and these do insanely bad at it. again ill reapaet my recent point. all they had to do was copy paste BT3 campaign style, and this wouldve made the game way better.

one last good note, other than my previous battle complaint, this game is extremely fun. 7/10, all those points are for art and combat +1. its really a 6. if your not super big into DBZ, wait for a sale. because this game will not teach you the lore at all. i cry for all the DBZ fans out there, and rage against those who overlook this atrocious campaign.
