Most bungled port of the decade, delay based netcode aside

Clearly an emulation wrapper for the ps3 version, but lobbies are buggy and broken, some characters (Konomi) can crash the game, some stuff isn't translated(??), can't be run in offline mode, doesn't run at 60FPS depending on graphics settings, etc.

Really disappointing as a fan of the game

Just checking at a glance, but when compared to the PS3 HD release (which I've played both on hardware and emulated, as well as the original Dreamcast port) these are absolutely bonuses:

- don't have to deal with native PS3 input lag (doubly so for PS3 emulation, which was also buggy and graphically didn't emulate properly)
- multiple ship selection, which adds some extra replay fun
- more advanced training that (finally) allows you to practice parts of stages, including bosses (the original ps3 training was really just a port of the dreamcast's training, which was purely stage select), change rank level, etc. It's not save states but it's a huge improvement over how G.Rev ports generally implement training.
- shows rank in game in a rudimentary way (though G.Rev games don't have wild rank swings so it's not incredibly important, just useful for training purposes)
- New arrange of New Order mode, which I haven't played but it's there.

whether or not you think it comes up to the price is up to you, It's not an M2 port, but to actually get one of the best stgs of the 21st century off the PS3 is worth it enough for me

M-KAI is just a good shmup dev.

All of the fun of eschatos + really well thought out weapon loadouts.
I love Area 88/UN Squadron and Lords of Thunder, so seeing someone actually do loadout shopping well is great. Like a lot of 16-bit games, you can play stages in segments, which makes the game very pick up and play. The only people who could hate this are arcade style routing only people, and I know they still like the gameplay. The rest are haters.

100000000 times better than Tekken 7, but Tekken 6 is still better.
