Tickles that very specific itch of resource management with interesting setting

Quite solid -- lots to learn and uncover. The only real negatives for me are that there are a few untranslated but unimportant elements, and late game gets fairly repetitive after a while.

Play the game a bunch and when you get bored download Multiverse mod and play another 200 hours

The kind of game that only appeals to a very specific kind of person. That person is me.

$115 for a game is absurd. Vanilla isn't that interesting, the UI needs help, and most of the big mods need the expensive DLC. So much QoL that could've been done was ignored likely because mods already do it.

Plus, you'd think that for a game that copied its art basis from Prison Architect, they wouldn't be as stingy with sales as they are.

The game itself is good, but vanilla on its own isn't worthwhile imo.

It's an exploration-style discovery game with an actually cool setting + progression. Peak genre.

Maybe I just don't have a heart anymore but it didn't resonate with me that much. It's hard for me to immediately care about huge character tragedy -- I haven't yet learned to be invested in the characters, but the game just opens with all the insanity.

Also, nearly every enemy is a faceless rock golem. I really could not care, I'm sorry.

It's good, but it's short, and the world feels more like it's happening around you than happening to you. I'd wait for a sale to buy it, but on sale it's worthwhile.

This game gets a begrudging thumbs up from me. It's honestly fairly hard to decide where to stand on this game, as it combines the brilliant with the tedious so very often. The first 15-20 hours of the game are extremely high quality imo, and then as the puzzles turn to more and more obscure and time consuming avenues the player is driven to great suffering at the hands of both RNG and the esoteric nature of some puzzles.

This game is an absolute steal at this price. Hell, I don't even normally like horror, but here we are
