This happened to a friend of mine once.

It's like the phrase "all style, no substance" on steroids. Outstanding, 1000/10 visuals but gameplay that's as fun as getting a lobotomy.

The game has seriously improved since I first played it (combat having more of a punch to it, levels are much more visually pleasing, shops and item collection is better overall), along with some QoL improvements like the voice acting, revamped melee system, etc. Dev is a super chill guy and shows he's putting genuine passion into this game.

So anyway I like the part where he says "It's Devilating time!" and Devilated all over the place.
