New gundam breaker was so bad that I waited for a few weeks after launch of this in order to determine if it was any good.

It definitely learned a lot from that game's abysmal failure, and avoided it entirely.

Started as a monkey with a staff, now I can turn into a dog with a flaming double spear.

Seems about right.

Tried it, found basically no variety in enemies nor even the weapons.

The difference between a pistol, smg, assault rifle, or even machine gun in this felt to be just how much ammo capacity they had, and were switchable with no real losses. Not even this machine gun with multiple barrels felt different. It just started firing instantly and didn't do anything special for the whole magazine. No speed up, no reverse recoil, no increased recoil, not even a significant spread increase from shooting too much. Nothing.


It truly is a slightly prettier, but significantly worse warframe.

Played a bit, definitely worth the price I paid for it. A bit obtuse in certain parts, but overall great.

It's a old game, built in an even older style. Don't let the aesthetics fool you, getting a game over in this game is pretty easy. Build a reasonably well balanced team, go into dungeons/fields and hunt all sorts of enemies that appear in basically hordes, and build new equipment from the junk you found, rinse and repeat.

Remember, racism is a mechanic here, but by using team moves to build up invisible concept of friendship, it can be overcome.

They didn't need to go into such detail of so many areas to make them feel lived in, but they did.

Bit laggy in the capital due to the npc count, but it definitely plays like how it should.

Bit early for a review, but catching my first shiny(lucky) and first boss mon, even without beating the first tower, I think I have a good grasp on the flow of the game. Made a few critical mistakes early, bad base location, not getting a hotspring to stabilize moods, and a few others, but it definitely is a good addition to the mon scene, and a good game in other genres as well.

It's a bit high in the system requirements overall, but other than that it has been great so far.

There is the rare bug, but compared to past releases this one is quite clean in most regards.


Gameplay is quite balanced, some enemies are tougher than average, but overall no where near the level that fo4 had. Legendary/ranked gear isn't super powerful usually, but there is higher tiers of the same equipment, so grabbing higher stuff is always better.

All the ammo types also seem to have utility the whole time as well. Compared to the issues with past games and having obsolete ammo, like 38, or low tier arrows, weapons like the beowolf using the literal first ammo you pick up while also doing good damage and having good overall stats is quite nice to have. Even the higher tier versions of this game's pipe pistol, the eon, have their uses.

So far so good, only wiped once so far while learning the ropes of this one.

Controls are snappy and responsive, equipment is as varied as it needs to be(do wish more variants of gear were available earlier), attacks feel like they have weight to them.

Only issue is that the hdr implementation is subpar(not unusual really), and can lead to washed out colors, so disabling it really made the game more vibrant and pop more.
