I bought this game on a whim, as it had been on my list for awhile and had gone on sale. I am a bit sorry I waited so long! It's a lovely hack and slash, plus platformer with multiple weapons and items you can find. There are a lot of mini games hidden within, along with other secrets as well. I did find some sections are not fully translated, which explain trading items to enhance weapons, play mini games, and a few rare ones that impact the story.

I can let the minor issues slip, as I have been having so much fun with it, and trying to solve all the puzzles. There are boob physics, so if those and the above mentioned untranslated sections turn you off, then you might not enjoy the game. If you like Chinese Folklore Monsters, hacking and slashing your way through multiple enemies, and a few challenging mini games, then yes, this is for you!

I played the original back on the original Xbox ages ago. This remake felt so faithful to the original and that the Devs put so much love into it. It honestly feels like they took the original and rebuilt it from the ground up, keeping all the important aspects and improving on the game's designs and battle system. I highly recommend this version to anyone looking for a trip down memory lane or wanting to experience the best psychological horror game of all time!

As many people stated, the game is only half translated. You do not get full conversations with the characters you encounter during or after events, and it feels like a bit of a rug pull... as the options for customization feel more limited than what the trailer had shown. I absolutely love Illusion games and what they have done for the H-Game industry, but this feels unacceptable in the state the game currently is.
If you love how the graphics look, do not care for a full translation, and this gamer is your thing, I will not stop you. But I will say that Koikatsu had way more features than Honey Select 2 DX, and that says something (as the game is an older title, but still great to this day). For now, just save your money.

This is not your average Maha Shojo game! Perhaps it is one of the few games I have played where the storytelling made me forget how some of the graphics and scenes were not that great. The story just is very powerful and left me in tears by the end of the game. It makes you appreciate or wish to have close bonds with friends. The artwork is beautiful and the character designs are just gorgeous. While the graphics can be a bit meh, and the levels feeling grindy/repetitive, it is something that you can look past (considering the game was made sometime ago for Vita, and eventually PS4).

If you are looking for an emotional story about friends, challenges, life, and loss.... then this game will be your cup of tea! I do suggest playing this before the sequel comes out next month, so you have the backstory of what a "Reflector" is, and what the game's whole world is about.

I absolutely love Chilla's Art games, and this is perhaps one of their most interesting. It actually managed to get me to scream with a jump scare I never saw coming! The game's atmosphere is unnerving, and leaves you to guess if you are being followed by someone or something. While short, it is definitely worth the money!

Each chapter is incredibly creepy, long, and well written. You get descriptions of everything going on with each character, in ways you wanted and did not expect. Another great horror VN with both gorgeous and sometimes gorey artwork.

Perhaps one of the best non Japanese Visual novels I have ever played! The Voice acting is solid, there are a ton of endings, and the artwork ranges from gorey to gorgeous. I still find myself coming back to this game to try and discover the real truth behind "The Letter". Highly recommend this to horror VN fans.

This game is virtually unplayable. There are too many key commands to make survival a thing. The camera also has an issue with making me get motion sickness, as it just bounces around with each turn of the mouse. I cannot, in good faith, reccomend this game to anyone.
It had so much promise, and ended up being a big let down.

This game, while it has a great feel in the Corpse Party Franchise, feels unfinished. There is only ONE chapter for both EX and the main storyline, leaving you at a cliff hanger for both. I wished I could recommend it, I really do. But I cannot. It is way too short, leaving me highly disappointed.

While gorgeous, it is an unstable mode (Even with a Geforce GTX 1070 card in your computer) and will crash the game every so often. The download time is excessive, along with the space it takes up on your hard drive. I suggest sticking to player mods than getting this one.
