A very good game for the most part, though it has it's weak spots..

Hand to hand combat is a little off, but not horrible.
If you use AMD video like myself, the latest AMD drivers won't work (had to go back to 2022 version).
I was hoping to run my own dedicated servers, but no... they want you to pay for someone else to host them. Greed I tell you!
Building mechanics and farming are decent.
They should add fish and sharks (maybe giant squid?) to the game as the beautiful ocean is void of life.
Unless you are controlling the ship, You can't man a cannon.
Metal mining is always conveniently in a cave on each island, and respawns (good, or bad?). The cave system is enjoyable.
The grind is not so bad and can be kinda fun, running around farming animals, plants and what not.
Can't wait to get more people in game to battle others ship to ship.

Overall 7 out of 10 in my opinion.

For an "alpha" build, this game has a lot to offer! Just about everything is non static and destroyable. Only 2 minor complaints... the water (which will hopefully be fixed soon in the next major patch) and the fact that everything is a "cube" distance from everything else, (this can make it difficult when building and placing even the most basic objects) but once you get the hang of it, working around it is not so bad.

Nice to see an old favorite come back from the dead (for the most part). The lack of multiplayer dedicated server ability sucks. Hope that is being worked on, have a feeling that it is not though...

Awesome story, great graphics. Controls are a bit clunky but they work. It is all about timing here, which leads to frustration at times. Take a break, play something else, come back and defeat it!

most terrifying game ive ever played

For the money... it was NOT worth it. Am I wrong for expecting more than what I got ?
I found the game somewhat interesting. The concept and sound were very good. AS far as a story line... FAIL! Too many doors, too much walking, almost ZERO interaction with the environment other than looking at pictures on the wall, minor blood spat, or a meat grinder in the kitchen that meant nothing! THEN... it just ended! WTF
This should have been a free alpha version teaser rather than a full game.

I'd like my money back please! $15 for what.... DAMN IT!
