Chrono Trigger, as a game, is absolutely amazing. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun RPG.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this version of the game as it is completely unplayable. I only have about 13 hours of play time on the steam version. So I'm not entirely sure what update broke the game. But upon trying to launch, the game goes to the "Square Enix" page, and then crashes back to desktop with not so much as an error message or warning. And, no, the game files do not need to be verified. All troubleshooting methods have been exhausted via common sense troubleshooting, as well as Square/Enix support. The game is simply unplayable.

Do yourself a favor and buy it elsewhere.

It's purrrfect in nearly every way. There's always fear with indie games that they will be Cat-astrophic. But I have to say, I'm about 5 hours in and feline really good about it.

10/10

Ever since the announcement, and the alpha, and beta, I knew this game was going to scratch an itch that I hadn't in a long while. I would constantly go back and re-play left 4 dead, and left 4 dead 2. Alone or with friends, it didn't matter. I loved those games. Even recently, I replayed through all the campaigns as a warm up for this game.

There is a lot this game has done very right, and some that it's missed the mark on. But they are actively working to improve upon what they already have, and that shows in how they interact with their community. Many people like to complain that this isn't close to the L4D games. And I think those claims are wrong. This game feels like, what L4D would have been if it came out now instead of 2008.

If you were a fan of Left 4 Dead, and you want a new game that is very much like that, this is the one. If you just want a good Zombie Ridden shooting game, this is the one.

This game is what I wanted when I found out the devs of one of my favorite games was making a new game. I will always recommend this game. And I'm excited to see what else they have in store for us.

Fun in concept. But the community is pretty toxic. Many players choosing to make it their soul purpose to sabotage other players, rather than trying to win themselves. None of the challenges have any semblance of balance to them, and the final challenges can sometimes favor you based entirely on the position you spawn in. For example, one of the final levels is just a hill you climb with very simple obstacles to avoid. There is no challenge in the level. But it spawns players in 2 rows. The players that spawn in front would have to all suffer from catastrophic failures in order for anyone in the back row to succeed.

This game is probably fun for a lot of people, but not for me. Sadly, I knew within my first time playing it that I hated it and was planning to return it. But by the time I stopped playing I'd passed the 2 hour limit for returning a game. So, now I'm stuck with this trash in my library, and -$20. So all I can do now is caution people to stay away.

If you're looking for a mindless game, low skill cap, high levels of toxic players, and challenges more based on luck than any other factor, then definitely get this game. If you want something that's a challenge, that rewards skill, check elsewhere.

In some form or another, I've had Left 4 Dead, and Left 4 Dead 2 installed on every computer I've ever owned, since the day each game was released. I come back to them on a regular basis. Fantastic games, very fun to play with friends. And with how often it's on sale, I'm honestly surprised it's not just included with steam xD If you like shooting zombies, get these games.

Good game, I think the first 2 are better. this one seems like it's trying really hard to emulate the first two, and make call backs in a lot of things. But it is enjoyable. It has interesting characters, and fun powers to play with.

The game is extremely one sided. The Killer side is significantly easier. I was unwilling to put any more time into the game, because I wanted to collect a refund. I miss the company that had large ambitions of a 16 player game, that resigned to a 3v1 poorly played asymmetrical horror game. If you're considering this game, check out Dead By Daylight, or Last Year: The Nightmare. Both are better than this game. If steam allowed number ratings this would be a 3/10.

A game that I absolutely love to play. It's like a better version of the original Harvest Moon games. And I've nominated this game for the 2019 "Labor of Love" award. There are constant updates and bug fixes, and a lot of community outreach. They clearly love this game, and love the community of fans.

This game had an interesting concept behind it. But the community is already so toxic and it's only 2 days old. If you aren't already an expert people will berate, belittle, and insult you. That, in and of itself isn't enough to damn the game. But the game modes are unintuitive. And the game actually has built in toxicity. In deathmatch modes you are required to tea-bag your downed opponents to confirm the kill. Which just increases toxicity levels that are already high.

This game needs a proper tutorial mode to teach players the rules of each mode. I didn't realize that you needed to tea-bag downed opponents until I was about about 10 kills ahead of everyone with 0 points.

TL;DR: Skip this game, and wait for Halo: Masterchief collection to come out, because it will be a better game.
