Alright, I'll start with the good bits. This is a great tech demo for what this company can produce. All they need is a story to go with it and it'd be decent. Sound design was actually very good especially in some of the combat.

Ok let's continue with the bad parts. Story is non existent, vapid hot air and fluff. Nothing tangible here. Plot holes so big it was actually astounding. I loved Alan Wake like my first born son but this was not it. The gameplay became repetitive after a while but at least was interesting. Pointless puzzles, lack of animations for anything outside of combat. I actually finished the game to see if I was missing out on something to justify the positive reviews.

Spoiler alert. I wasn't.

Funny, shocking, simple and different. NotGames clearly have their finger on the pulse. Interested to see what comes of their future and that of Tit Wank Tony. WAAAAAYYYYYYYYY!

It's obviously been held back by the recent pandemic but there is enough here to be memorable already. Would completely recommend.

Everyone seems to be enjoying this game in the reviews ... I didn't. The menus/backpack take a little time to get used to but could end up being intuitive HOWEVER every other aspect of the game is deliberately masochistic. I think there is a great game lying beneath that masochism somewhere but after 4 hours I'd rather just hear about it from someone else.
