Predatory Garbage. This launcher is genuinely the worst piece of software I've had the displeasure to use. It serves no actual function other than to impede your user experience with garbage monetization schemes and battle passes.

Picture this:
You boot up MW2/3 to continue the campaign from the very successful 2019 release, only to have your ears blasted by maxed audio settings by default. After setting brightness and accessibility options, your first experience with the new title is a terrible, goofy multiplayer intro and the new season's battle pass trying to squeeze you for every penny before you even touch the game you JUST paid for.

Call of Duty has truly taken a fall from grace since the glory days of 2008-2012. There was a time when you would start your game and be greeted with an epic cinematic demonstrating what the game has in store in the gritty, immersive, storytelling way that CoD still admittedly has a knack for. Money has truly corrupted the great, and it's a shame your first experience is soiled like this. I simply will not leave a positive review on any product with such predatory schemes as this, yet somehow we live in a dystopia where games like this are able to thrive without backlash.

Fantastic little game for its price. Even in it's current state.

You can very easily exhaust the content within a day but the art, music and general feel of the game make it an excellent few hours to kill time.

Judging by the road-map released as of the time of this review it seems like there will be more content and things to do down the road. Regardless It's still worth it right now.

Still dis-satisfactory research speed but overall the game is more enjoyable to play now and researching nations should take less time in total however premium time+vehicles are still required to do it in any reasonable time frame.

Enjoyable. Gets better when you buy the DLC and RP your space empires

As a concept Odyssey is fantastic.
The execution was appalling.
All the gameplay loops are super repetitive and shallow (as expected from elite). the stations have only 3 layouts with mildly different lighting, Playing with friends currently (22/05/21) is difficult to say the least. i have to try connect with them at least twice consistently.
The performance is pure ass. Horizons and odyssey players are blocked from even playing together because the 2 builds are completely different.
the planets look beautiful from orbit and on foot but the areas between they kinda look bad. the on foot experiences can be completely forgotten about when the only really fun consistent combat you can experience is a conflict zone. the missions at the moment are nearly impossible to access because they are to a location at the opposite end of the galaxy (2 hours travel time)

So yeah, i love this game but not odyssey in its current state. I might update my review once things get better but as it stands right now. Frontier can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for even remotely thinking this is an acceptable "playable" state, if you can call it that.

It feels clunky but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing to play,

Get a plane pack you want and go ham super fun

Literally a must have vr game if you own Any headset. Quest, Windows MR all the way to an index.
