STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is a must-play if you love atmospheric, single-player FPS games. The Zone is immersive, haunting, and packed with detail — easily one of the best post-apocalyptic settings out there.

I’ve spent 125+ hours exploring, and I’m still not done. There's some jank (ammo balance gets rough late-game, AI and A-Life need work), but the core experience is fantastic if you’re into survival, exploration, and that classic STALKER feel.

Runs great on a Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3060, and 32GB RAM. I’d love to see future updates with better inventory management, base upgrades, and more repeatable content. Until then, mods help fill in the gaps.

Totally worth the $100 Ultimate Edition for me, but if you catch it on sale around $40? Instant buy.

10/10 would get irradiated again.

Newest update borked my game. Crashes upon loading into the garage. Will change review once fixed.

Alright. So I got a little over 2 hrs into Star Trucker. Its great as a Trucker Sim. Its no ATS of course, but I feel like a space trucker.

*There is definitely inertia and it feels pretty good once you get used to it. It feels like youre piloting a big ass truck, and when youre outside the scale is pretty damn good. Really gives you a perspective to make driving a tad easier.
*The flying is nice with their inertia system, and from what ive read (i havent gotten any truck upgrades yet) the upgrades help ALOT.
*Lots a varying missions, like shipments of things from one system to another but the item is restricted in some areas, so you have to plan your route to not go through systems where its not restricted.
*There is trading with an economy. Grab items from one system in the red and sell in the green. Im not sure yet how much of an effect you have on that.
*Witty banter over the CB isnt bad, and VA'd. They say some corny space trucker jokes, and they're nice, but I'm not dying laughing.
*Side missions dealing with the other truckers aren't bad, I haven't done very many, so the opinion may change.
*Skill points are used to unlock what type of cargo/how many you can pull.
*You can move around the cabin, get out and repair which is fun, but on just regular settings, but if you stray off the "highway" debris can come literally out of nowhere, and youll spend more time than you want repairing damage, which causes you to need filters/power cores more, and that gets EXPENSIVE.
*You can upgrade the truck to make it faster, brake better, etc. You can unlock paintjobs for your truck and you can change certain colors within those paintjobs which is pretty awesome because you do spend time outside of the truck picking up salvage.
*Using the space suit isnt bad at all, I would like it a teensy bit more sensitive, but its not bad the way it is.
*The customization options for gameplay mechanics is pretty deep and a welcome thing. You can change all kinds of things, but (i think i dont remember) it causes you to get a little less xp for things if you make it easier.
*There is no strafe or just up down thrusters for your truck which makes backing up to hook onto cargo/shops/job postings at stations can be a little frustrating if you dont pull up to it just right (there is a gameplay option to make this distance more forgiving).
*There isnt an FOV option or a spring to default look button, so if you dont line up your sight in the 1pp camera, it looks real weird and hard to tell if you're drifing in an odd direction.
*I do wish there were more safe spaceway instead of just the major highways, and also better signage floating when you come out of a jump where they are and where they go.
*Really hoping for VR support. This seems like a no brainer, but I understand how difficult that could be.
*Mod support would be AMAZING.

Its a chill arcadey Space Truck sim, and i'd say its worth the $22 I paid for it.

Played an hour. Refunded. Not a bad foundation, but needs to cook for at least another hard year with the differing quests, and enemy amounts. Will stay followed and check back. Have hopes for these devs.

Played on release. Got scared on a mission and stopped playing. Bought on here recently and had some friends help me through the mission. I can't believe I didn't go further a lot sooner. I can't believe 7 years later this game still stands up as one of the scariest night experiences in a zombie game. The controls are still spot on, and while the story is a little lacking, I'm not here for the dialogue. I'm here to jump around roofs and kill zeds. Great ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Idk what it is about this game, but I absolutely love playing it. The systems are simple, the progress doesn't feel SUPER grindy, the map is huge, and the art style is fantastic. Some of the tombs are a pain like moving the boxes in The Fall of the Four Kings tomb. Sometimes they would move too easily, and sometimes you have to push a second or two longer. I still 100% recommend this game.

Bought the game. Played about an hour solo. Was hesitant in not refunding my purchase. A buddy of mine got it and we loaded into a world together. 11hrs later I don't regret my purchase and really hope the devs continue to work on this. The building system is really intuitive once you get used to it (YOU HAVE TO MAKE A WORKING CHIMNEY TO HAVE A FIRE IN YOUR HOUSE AND ITS MY FAVORITE FEATURE), the monsters looks cool, the world is BEAUTIFUL for being a low poly game, but it works well. The physics in the world are pretty good. I like being able to chop a tree down in a dense forest, and it takes out 8 trees in a cool domino effect. I can see many more hours delving into and exploring this world and the lore. Highly suggest. 10/10
