An incredible souls-like experience with fun level design and interesting enemy variety. The combos from weapons feel great, which can be weaved into weapon switches which is very fun to pull off.
The difficulty is fair and somewhat challenging, nothing too hard but not a pushover either.

The anime art style doesn't take itself too seriously, while still being pleasing to the eye.
There's plenty of unique cosmetics to find which up the appeal of the main character too.

It stands apart from other titles in the genre with a unique Sync Rate mechanic which all skills and weapons work around. Not a stamina bar as such, but more of a gauge to spend for hard hitting combos and spells.

You can see the inspirations throughout the game, and overall it's a really well made experience and enjoyable for new or veteran souls like enjoyers.

A definite 9/10 so far. The only issue I've really found is some text is not wrapped so some letters bleed onto the next line, but that doesn't matter too much for overall game experience.

I picked this up on sale for around £20 and it's been very worth the cost. The devs even threw in a free DLC too which is rare to see these days.

I started off doing considerably okay and getting by, but then I quickly realised how strong combo chaining really is.
The rooms then became far redder.

With a strong mix of classes to offer varied play styles, this game is quite rewarding when you weave in combos and weapon switching. All your moves offer dynamic combo chains that can seriously deal out massive damage if performed and timed well.
Parrying is useful and it definitely allows you to carve up a horde and not have a scratch on you, if utilised effectively.

Gear is randomised but generates balanced (mostly) to fill in your lowest level slot/missing slot. And the skills that weapons and armour can roll all provide substantial bonuses to the monster slashing.

I love the bonus rooms that show up now and again. Difficult at first but if you get them down, they reward you handsomely.

Another banger from a solo developer, and I'm invested and excited to see all the future updates that come along.

An exceptionally fun action rouge-like title that takes notes from its key inspirations and executes them flawlessly.
It sports a charming visual style that could run on almost any platform. I've found it runs very efficiently on the Steam Deck too.
Featuring enticing replay-ability with constant unlocks for new characters & toys to try, coupled with a killer soundtrack, this game has the sauce as they say.
Commendable work for mostly a solo developer.
Definitely a must-play, and for the asking price, it packs a huge punch for value.

An excellent survival crafting game with distinct visuals and a charming aesthetic. The vibe the game gives is unmatched. Solo or with friends, its a blast.

Super fun score attack style arcade skating game with great characters accompanied with comedic voicelines. All of the featured talents are awesome vtubers too. The game oozes style and for the asking price, its a heck of a time. Radical!

Exceptional playing card rouge-like that has a great sense of NGU (Numbers Go Up) and passive synergies. Surprisingly diverse in terms of build potential, and the game hosts a number of challenges and decks (classes) to run with, keeping the gameplay loop fresh and satisfying to win.
