Resident Evil Requiem – 30 Hours a Hero, 2 Achievements from a Nervous Breakdown
By: A Completionist on the Verge of Enlightenment

30.4 hours. 47 out of 49 achievements. If that's not a love letter to the developers, then I don't know what is. Resident Evil Requiem sent me through hell and back, forcing me to scrub every corner of the facility and negotiate with every nightmare-fuel creature I encountered just for a bit of digital recognition.

I felt like a god. I outsmarted the heavy hitters, survived the scripted chases, and took down the final bosses with a single, well-placed shot. The protagonists weren't just characters; they were my extended arms in this bloody symphony of horror. I was ready for the knighthood, the "Platinum" trophy, the holy grail.

Nope.

Two achievements. TWO. They are all that separate me from my sanity and the sweet reward.

Achievement #48: The Paper Trail
Apparently, I stomped through the apocalypse, killed tyrants, solved puzzles, and uncovered conspiracies, but I failed to read the right notes. In this playtime, I probably consumed more paper than a librarian on speed. But no. Two tricky files are still hiding like the last nerds in a forgotten corner or folded up in some dusty office. You're more likely to find a needle in a haystack than these damned documents. I’ve probably walked past them a dozen times thinking they were just background decor. I’VE ALREADY READ EVERYTHING ELSE, PEOPLE!

Achievement #49: The Test of Patience (Or "The Why?")
Oh, the final hidden challenges. You glorious, absurd, absolutely over-the-top requirements. While the rest of the game prepared me to survive with a mix of firepower and sharp wit, these final goals suddenly demand skills I haven't trained for in 30 hours:

The Waiting Game: One task literally requires you to stand still and watch a repetitive machine do its thing for an eternity. It’s not gameplay; it’s supervised waiting. I could have cleared an entire floor in the time it took for this one "feat" to pop.

The Environmental Obsession: Then there’s the part where you have to interact with a mundane household object over and over again for no logical reason. The water bill in this place must be astronomical. Anyone watching me would think my character had a serious case of OCD.

The Dead Weight: And don’t get me started on the "escort" mission where you're basically babysitting a useless item across the map. We’re fighting for our lives, and I’m worried about a piece of junk!

And then, when you finally input that long, cryptic code you looked up... the game just mocks you. A diabolical laugh from the developers who knew exactly that we completionists are all a little bit insane.

Conclusion
Resident Evil Requiem is an absolutely magnificent game. Atmospheric, tough, and exciting. But these last two achievements aren't just hurdles; they're a character study. They don't test your skill; they test your patience, your obsessive-compulsive traits, and your willingness to meditate in front of a meat-processing machine.

So, if you need me: I'm currently back in the facility, looking for that one missing scrap of paper while mentally scheduling my next "pointless interaction" run. The wait for the 100% has begun.

Rating: 47/49 Achievements – or as I call it: "Clinically dead, but too stubborn to fall down."

Early Access Review
So, I "dabbled" in Path of Exile 2 and somehow ended up clocking 128 hours. Now I'm level 75 and bosses are practically speed bumps.

Rushed to endgame? Nah, just speedrunning like it's my day job. The game barely had time to say, "Welcome!" before I said, "Thanks for the memories."

10/10 would accidentally become a PoE 2 addict again. 😄

Now that I have used the program for 14 hours or so, I can say that it is a very good program. The functions are functional as such, as they should be, but there is one problem. I have noticed 2 times now that the program has problems with memory leaks. Means that sometime my RAM (30 GB) are completely full at once. This was not the case before (before I downloaded the program). Should this bug be fixed, I will gladly use it again or continue to use, but until then it remains uninstalled for now.

Unfortunately, I never got the chance to play the game in the original and the Enhanced version put me off a bit. (Not the graphics, but the fiddly menu). Now I was finally able to catch up. I started with the 2nd part of System Shock and was immediately in love.

This game has a great atmosphere and also a very enjoyable and rewarding gameplay experience! It took me just under 24 hours for my first playthrough because I wanted to look around just about everywhere (except for one particular area, but that would count as a spoiler).

I found the puzzles very engaging and at times difficult.

All in all, I would recommend the game to anyone who hasn't had any exposure to the System Shock games. Who knows, maybe you'll be tempted to play the second part.

I'm looking forward to the Enhanced Edition of the second part and hopefully a remake! (Let's keep our fingers crossed for part three).

Such a beautiful game. Since I've never played through a Souls (didn't have the nerve) and start playing this one.... Well. 140 hours and 4 playthroughs later, I'm still missing things and can't stop. HELP!

Ich habe glaube ich die beste Zeit meines Lebens in diesem Spiel verschwendet.
Damals noch eins der besten (soweit ich es gespielt habe) Counter-Strike spiele. Derzeit leider ein wenig leere Server.
Verständlich, da wahrscheinlich alle CS:GO spielen.
