The controls were a bit funky to start, using m+k so might be my fault lol, but the game play itself is super satisfying once youre zipping around ships unloading rounds, especially the bigger ones. On top of that the story hook at the end of the demo is really intriguing and Im excited to see where it goes in the full game.

Truly awesome game! Just finished and managed to get the best ending, as far as I can tell, with minimal save scumming lol. Having played through the first one a couple times for the ending I wanted, watching all the characters continue to follow their arcs or go through new ones was amazing. All the side characters/agents are so fun to talk to. This was hands down an upgrade from the first one, I cant wait for the third one, cause I know damn well that cliff hanger isnt gonna be left to sit there, at least it better not. The story had multiple times where I teared up, whether it was from something sweet, or incredibly sad, like the scenes between Tymo and Jakub.

To the devs: I hope you guys come away from this project happy, because I know I am, and I cant wait for the next entry!

Besides the combat being really funny, if a bit tricky with the parry mechanic and having a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ banger OST, the fact that this is the only game Ive played that starts the volume lower on startup so it isnt as loud is worthy of a positive review on its own. I will praise these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for that and all the amazing accessibility options you can enable that make the game easier and more accessible for tons of people

While this game is certainly impressive, it has downsides.

The whole beginning part felt like it went on way too long and stroked itself a bit much.

It could run a bit better, then again I don't have the best setup so I'll take that for the most part.

Heavy objects and climbing around has been done by Blade and sorcery and is far more versatile, although goofy at times, than Bone works. They show it off but, you can't climb on terrain, just the stuff they indicate.

The jumping is inane, it might take more time to master but, it breaks the flow of gameplay as you have to slowly crouch, walk to the edge then jump to make it. Physical crouching doesn't seem to be as effective or consistent which means you deal with accidentally crouching as you turn. Also not being able to move in air is annoying, it be one thing if movement was restricted but, it just doesn't happen at all if you weren't moving before the second you jumped.

I haven't done much combat yet, but melee feels about the same as B&S, sorry for this repeated comparison but they do some of the same ideas. B&S feels a bit better but, I haven't fought live targets and Bone works seems to be mode focused on gunplay, so that's fair enough.

Overall if you're new to these mechanics they are impressive and deserve a play. If you've long since earned your VR legs, then this game is still a fair buy if you enjoy these mechanics but, is clearly in need of tweaking and updating. Its got a lot of potential but, its muddled in either lack of experience with game development or new tech, which both are super understandable, however these things still exist as problems.

I'll continue to play and if my opinion is changed then so too will the review.

Amazing game that the developers continue to work on and make better each and every time like the recent graphics update, it looks so tight now. Also has some of best mods as far as blending in and improving the game without taking away the feeling of progression.

Amazing game that continues to pull me back every time they release a new monster and makes me glad to make new characters to run through again on different weapons.

Ran this at 20 fps at best and lowest settings and it was still gorgeus and immensly fun. Expansion only made it more amazing

Left a good review but then realized how much trash this is, constant crashes and ♥♥♥♥ frames

Very solid game and very saisfying. The second wave options are actually interesting but also off a little. Game length short to medium which is good because late game, if you don't play too stupidly or go with the hardest difficulty and all second wave options, your 6 men that you will inevitably narrow down 10 hours in will become a small army. Enemy Within defiently helps out but the running for Meld is very irratating but, helps make you think faster and work on the fly. Again Long War helps fix the meld timer if wanted. All in all good game especially with Long War mod installed, 7.5/10

Great game probably 9/10 for sure. Its very fun the dialouge funny, the different storyline-esque challenges are pretty fun too but, also challlenging. Its very relaxing epecially once you start getting the bigger sprinklers and such to help you farm and even the other activities are fun and challenging. The only reason I dont give it that extra point is because by year 2 the challenge, especially for farming, begins to go away or at least for me but, still after that theres much more things like going to calico(?) desert and mining/fishing there.
