A really short and linear piece of interactive fiction. Amazing artstyle most people would recognize from Hotel Dusk. Good story that deals with grief but in a way that feels optimistic and hopeful. It's really just a simple story about life told with no spoken or written dialogue.

The weapons aren't as cool or interesting as those in the first game but everything else is an improvement for the most part.

Was gifted this by a friend on a whim. I underestimated how comforting it would be.

It's like Animal Crossing if Animal Crossing were entirely about fishing. I enjoy it as is but it'd be cool if we got a little house or something to decorate.

How are you gonna make an Atelier game then not have it be a large world with open field gathering? It's not a bad game. It's just not the one I wanted. It's about as enjoyable as any other gacha game and there's a lot of polish.

I just somehow feel like I was misled. That might be 100% my fault for not researching but still.

I did my best and you should do your best too.

Characters aren't as endearing and interesting as those in the first game but the gameplay is engaging with the right amount of challenge.

Simple and enjoyable. My only complaint is that there's no windowed mode. I have to alt+tab out of the game when listening to my own music to change tracks or go to another playlist.
