"You can change difficulty at any time!" it says on the character creation menu...

"Actually you can't change it higher after character creation and deleting/starting over requires a bunch of accounts and hoops" the reality says afterwards.

Looks cutesy and simple but is surprisingly in-depth. Hell of a lot of fun, equal parts forgiving and unforgiving, tons of little secrets to find, and a great sense of humor throughout.

Definitely worth the price.

Very authentic to the movies, a lot of fun, feels very spot on for how you'd expect to feel being RoboCop.

Has some performance issues, loading hangs here and there, rough around the edges in general, but the fun more than makes up for it.

Add in that it goes on sale for 5$ often enough and you really can't go wrong.

Very simple but very fun, with friends or without. A little bare but I hope they keep adding to it.

For 5$ you can do a lot worse for something to screw around with for a few afternoons with friends.

Darks Souls with a light and dark world you jump between like Link to the Past is absolutely nuts.

I haven't gotten super far but what little I've seen and played has been a blast.

I liked West of Loathing a bit more, but still had a blast with this.

Tired of super weak weapons in HD2? Come feel the drastic technological superiority of HD1.

I want my hard drive space and FPS back. File size is bloated from copy pasting everything and the game barely runs long enough to crash, stuttering the entire time.

Played this game by other means while it was stuck on Epic, promised myself I'd buy it when it finally came to Steam.

Definitely a "not for everyone" kind of game, and I can't even really say "If you liked Salt and Sanctuary, you'll definitely like this."

It's kind of everything thrown into a blender. You have Souls-like combat shoved into 2D, Metroidvania style movement upgrades and progression locks to eventually go more places, and you grind out "bosses" to craft equipment to help you to better grind out more bosses for more equipment.

You'll either love it or hate it, but I'd say it's worth at least giving a try. You should have a good idea if it's for you before the 2 hour window runs out.

I feel the best compliment I could give this game is to pose the question "Are we SURE FromSoft didn't make this?"
