Probably the best arcade racing game I've ever played in my entire life. I played it back in the day in my PS2 and raged so hard little me broke a few controllers to this masterpiece.

Definitely an absolute banger of a game, ♥♥♥♥ has so many cool details like songs being cropped and slowly unlocked and used by different racers (Most have their own theme, so to speak).

The game's got a lot of issues on it, such as:
- Manual transmission completely disabling Rear gear and killing the chance of doing wheelies with the 1971 Bestia.
- The main plot is very vague and simple, and sometimes it feels like you just missed a cutscene or a part of the game when jumping from one race to another.
- There's some secondary characters that don't feel like they should be, such as Angel's dad, the biker you race against while fighting Gina, and a few more of them. They've got too many voicelines in-race and too many details for you to just meet them in one single race and never again, not even a moment of screen time or anything.
- There's some inconsistencies with the plot, such as being able to change the car you use to defeat the detective who's trying to get Farid and his family behind bars, some of the commentaries in cutscenes made by your opponents making no sense with what happened before/after, and so on.
- There's a few instances where you'll do missions with very specific objectives instead of plain old races, but these are so rare and unusual it seems like they just didn't have the time to add more.
- The game automatically sets your transmission back to Automatic everytime you boot up the game, as if they forgot to add a line of code to remember your transmission setting.
- The game feels like it's missing something. It feels like a playtest of a lot of mechanics that you only get to use once and that's it.
- There's some major exploits with the physics engine. You can gain more speed by constantly downshifting and immediately upshifting again, you can gain even more speed fishtailing your cars, and more.
- The Cars' colors feel odd and unprecise. A golden colored car may look more like a cream-ish silver, blues sometimes look like a dim purple...

And the list goes on. The game is definitely not perfect, NOT EVEN CLOSE

H O W E V E R, I'm yet waiting to meet an arcade racing game that's as good as this one when it comes to ACTUAL RACING. It may lack any kind of customization besides a few colors for your cars, but it's handling is EXTREMELY arcadey, the races sometimes feel like the whole dev team snorted 30kgs of coke before they got to work on the tracks...

It had online back when the game was relevant, and I'm 100% sure it was a blast to game on, before all the tryhards with their exploits became the main community around this game, capture the flag mode with powerups, races, team races, tag with bombs...

All in all, this game's flawed, but still extremely enjoyable and very addictive, it's only flaw is being so short. If you're experienced enough this game can be easily completed in a single afternoon, from beginning to end, 100%. Online would've keep this interesting, but it's long gone and I sincerely doubt the game ever rising from the dead since it can't even be bought anymore.

Look for the game online, try it out, it really is an arcade racing game on drugs, you're definitely gonna enjoy it once you get the hang of it, and it'll be over before you realize, and you'll be frustrated, because none of the other Midnight Club games feel the same. MC3 is probably the closest, but even that one has a different approach (Although the same core) and it shows.
Don't bother looking for mods. There's a few (Very few) out there that will expand the game and do some major changes to it, changing races and so on, but they're pretty underwhelming and their quality is very questionable. My advice if you really wanna get the best outta this game's to play it in an actual PS2 (Or PS3 first version) and just play locally with your homies.

Let's start by the game itself, Dark Souls II. A solid entry to the world of Dark Souls, it takes on what Dark Souls left behind and made a whole new world and lore upon it. The game IS related to the original Dark Souls, but it tries to be a thing of it's own at the same time by creating pretty much a whole new plot in the game. You're no longer seeking the flame, you're not trying to keep the age of fire going (or trying to kill it), you're trying to save yourself for a curse, a curse that no known man has managed to steer clear off.

The lore of this game is definitely solid, and you'll quickly realize about it as soon as you progress a little bit and pay attention to your surroundings, NPCs and certain items.

Now, gameplay-wise, this game is a lot more "neutral" towards playstyles. You're not constantly forced to be overly agressive as in the latter Dark Souls 3, nor are you considerably stronger by becoming a poise monster. Dark Souls II manages a pretty neat balance between builds, both with and against you. You'll find yourself pretty comfortable changing playstyles and builds since MOST of them will remain as viable as the rest (Granted pure INT builds are insane in PvE, and pure FTH builds are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in PvE).

The game definitely isn't flawless, but it more than makes up for it's mistakes with many aspects of the game itself. It's surprisingly long, but it never feels "too long", you'll keep progressing awaiting the next area with it's new location and set of enemies (Ironically the game was supposed to be much larger and as interconnected as DS1, but... Strict development times did their magic along with direction issues, so this is what we ended up with).

All in all, Dark Souls II is definitely a GREAT game, it's a great entry to it's series, and to it's genre as a whole. Don't let the usual mockery around the game fool you, there's a lot more to this game than the jokes and memes will show you.

Just... Don't go into this game expecting a fast-paced action game, cause it's far from that.

Dark Souls II (Scholar of the First Sin edition), while at first it might seem like a messed up version of the original Dark Souls II, it really isn't. The main goal of this edition was to focus on online interaction and gameplay, and it does feel a lot better when cooperating with people!

Foes are repositioned or outright changed in certain areas, they're prepared to come at you in masses, which is a lot better designed than the original DS2 if you're playing throughout the whole game with friends, you'll constantly get in battles along your mates where everyone will be busy with their own enemy instead of becoming a gankfest towards the mobs.

Granted the game does feel rougher when playing all by yourself, and at most times you will be forced to play defensively and back down a lot.
If you really wanna play Dark Souls II to it's fullest potential, BY YOURSELF, get the original, otherwise, get this version. Make use of the cooperation (and invasion) expanded system, it's the main appeal of this version!

I can't recommend the game enough.

This is definitely a certified classic of gaming. Wether you're into shooters or not, wether you like horror games or not, the original Resident Evil 4 is one of those classics that you should absolutely try for yourself at least once in your life.

The game itself is a blast. The story is pretty alright, it knows how to have a serious tone while still throwing jokes here and there and smacking some impressive situations to keep you excited and engaged.

Voice acting is medium, mainly because of the latin american voices for rural spanish folk, which you'll very easily identify if you ever heard an actual spaniard talking, but it adds up for the humor in some way.

Gameplay is solid. Aside from the tons of details that will add to your playstyle, allowing you to engage your foes and fights in different ways, the variety of tools at your disposal is quite impressive for a game of it's age. You may feel the dated controls being somewhat uncomfortable at first, but you'll easily get used to them in a couple of hours, which won't be near enough to get you through 20% of the game, because you're looking at a pretty long game if you take your time exploring every corner and trying to get everything the game offers you.
You're out for at least a 10 hours run as your first time if you really wanna experience the full game.

All in all, the game is GREAT, even if you're not a Resident Evil fan. It's a great mix between action and horror, with a neat plot which also allows for new players to hop in to it, since the main plot is entirely from scratch in this one. Definitely recommended, even considering the remake is out there.

I'd recommend to look for some tweaking mods online, they're rather easy to find and install. Considering the game's from 2005, you'll probably thank those mods, mainly because they'll fix your typical screen resizing issues along with unstable framerates, but also because they'll tweak and optimize the gameplay a little bit so it feels more comfortable and less clunky.

Why are you still reading this? Go get yourself a copy and try it out, this game's not iconic for no reason!

A pretty respectable entry to finish off the original Modern Warfare series. This game has a pretty cool campaign, along with a still exciting multiplayer and some neat singleplayer/co-op modes.

Starting off with the campaign, I won't go into much details because of spoilers, but the game still keeps hitting hard at a large scale war, along with some remarkable scenes from the series. You're mostly playing the campaign throughout 2 different characters, although you'll also have some missions with others. Overall, a pretty crazy plot with enough variety in environments and objectives to not feel too repetitive.

Multiplayer is... Pretty neat, sadly you'll have to forget about DLCs since most players still kicking won't use them. Alternatively you could use external launchers (Such as Plutonum) if you really wanna go at it or play with mods.
Beware that this is classic CoD, you're gonna be heading on against mostly veterans of the series who spent tons of hours in the game, so be ready for a hard one.
As for mechanics themselves, most weapons are fair, with the obvious 3 main choices every cod has, still you're able to go at it with pretty much anything since TTK is quite low with anything.

You'll be mostly playing the standard TDM mode since everything else is long dead, including community modes.

As for the co-op stuff, you've got a variety of survival maps (Probably the best the game has to offer compared to the rest of series since it's the only game that has it), along with a bunch of spec-ops. The latter could give you some mixed feelings. Some missions are quite cool, while others might be boring or not as enjoyable to some players.

All in all, the game is still classic CoD, fun, exciting, simple yet complicated enough to let you show off your skills while not feeling completely useless if you lack the experience. I can't recommend this game enough if you like arcade military FPS, though keep in mind the game has this "super modern" feel to it. You'll get what I mean after you throw a couple of hours into the game.

DON'T BUY THIS GAME AT FULL PRICE. As good as it is, considering it's 12 years old, it definitely doesn't deserve the 40 bucks, wait for it to go on a sale or just check for 3rd party sellers. It's good, but that doesn't mean it should cost 70% what the newest cod costs.

This is basically Wii Tanks remastered. Thing works like a charm, has a bunch of "Crusades" (Campaigns) to play, alone or with friends, and it even has a rather extensive editor. You can create your custom maps and crusades, with custom tanks, bullet types and so on, and even share it with other players!

It even has PvP if you wanna just sweat around with your friends!

And it's ALL FREE!

Recommended it 100%, would give it more votes if I could.

This was my last game of the triology, so bear with me down this hole of pure majesty of old.

I've played this game long after finishing both DS2 and DS3, so my hopes weren't particularly high. I mean, it's an older title, it's probably gonna be rougher and somewhat tougher to deal with.
Boy oh boy how wrong was I.

The game WILL look old, that's for sure, but the gameplay, the magic, is all still like new. Definitely a must play if you enjoyed either DS2 or DS3. It has a slower, more methodical gameplay, which heavily rewards knowledge. Engage in combat, learn your enemies, anticipate to their moves and turn out victorious.

My journey through this whole game had a few references seen in other titles (More like the other way around), mostly from DS3, such as Anor Londo, the Black Knights, to name a few.
Might get frustrating at times, this game particularly rewards a proper build well done, as well as a defensive playstyle. You can definitely go rogue and be a madman, but it's safer to go the protective way and take it slow, at least for the first times.

I definitely recommend this game, it's been an amazing journey and my runs were very, very enjoyable. Just make sure to have a while to swallow it, you don't wanna be leaving after half an hour, take a few hours in, enjoy the game.

Most of my hours were played in the Remastered version since I couldn't get my hands on this classic, I definitely recommend getting Dark Souls: Remastered instead because:
1. The game is no longer available to purchase by normal means.
2. DS: Remastered has some nice stability improvements, enhanced graphics and a few good minor gameplay changes .
3. As of 25/10/2022, Dark Souls: Prepare To Die Edition's online services have been confirmed to remain closed forever due to some major security issues. This is going to be adressed in the Remastered version in the next weeks.
4. If you're not a fan of controllers, Remastered has nice Mouse and Keyboard support, where as this one is just a nightmare to play on, doable, but definitely painful.

So, in short, if you wanna experience this blast of a game, head for the Dark Souls: Remastered store page and get that one instead. I recommend waiting for some sales since the price is not as reasonable as one would think.

Now this thing's a little confusing, where do I begin...

The game is... Awesome at first sight. The gameplay itself is really cool and enjoyable, after a couple of hours you'll quickly realize how agile and active this game is.

The variety of weaponry and playstyles is also relatively big, you could be that one guy that sleeps at a corner shooting out of your sight, wishing for someone to just show up as the bullet goes by, you can either be the rushy maniac who can't stand still and need to smash that booty at point blank with a good old double barreled shotgun, or you could be the funny guy with that plank with a nail on it.

The playerbase is so small, it really is sad to play the game nowadays, and as most of the players are actually really rude and childish, it's best you git gud before you move that ass into PvP modes.

On the other hand, the gamemodes have some issues related to them. In my opinion, the best gamemode available's the Zombie mode, and not because that typical "Zombies are the best" ♥♥♥♥, but just because IT IS the best gamemode. Quick respawns, constant gunfire, madness, blasting all over the place, that's what this game's good at. Fast action, shoot 20 bombs in 2 seconds onto the enemy, empty that MG in front of ya in matter of seconds, destroy the damn world with that cute thin sword that has the power of god knows what.

TDM is the most active gamemode majorly, and don't get me wrong, it is indeed good, but the fact that it's round-based, instead of KillCount-based pulls me off. You die a round, you wait for it to finish, and it can take up to 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minutes. Now you may think "Well, 5 minutes ain't that much", and yeah, they're not, that is if you're playing something like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Counter Strike... This thing's quick. Like... REALLY QUICK.

The rest of gamemodes are uhh... Fine. Survival is cool to try your weapons out and refine your accuracy, also to play more "tactical" and calmly, as the rest of gamemodes are either ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for 5 mins, or ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with ads AKA Spectator mode.

If you got any friends and you wanna try this thing out, go ahead, it really is fun and you can have good laughs and ♥♥♥♥ for a while, it's just not a game you should consider to play consistently. It's more of a "I wanna just have some quick fun" rather than a "I'll master this game and be at the top for years".

So, basically, fast action game with a "meh" community, really fun for small gaps of time, specially with some buddies, Zombies and Survival modes shall be your first goals as they have AI, which really is needed often with how small the community is.

Just... Just don't be a competitive toxic ♥♥♥♥ aight, have fun, enjoy the game... Don't take it seriously <3
