Very nice game, but unfinished and unpolished.

-Unpolished: There is a really bad lighting bug that only shows up when your base becomes larger and random parts just become black as if there is no light, while there is plenty of lamps.
-Unfinished: Some items, like Clay, don't exist for your storage. It feels like it was added later but they forget to add it to the items that can be stored??

It really is a nice game and I will recommend it as soon as some bugs have been fixed.

UI and Interface nightmare.
Can't set screen resolution, so if your eyes are bad, better not.

It'll be like :
-"But I clicked!"
-"No don't select this one the other"
-"Go here...well comon..Go here (miss click) and no ARGHHH"

Beautifull, Buggy, Unpolished, UI click heavy (you'll spend a lot off time in inventory just clicking to get one thing done)

Game is a mess and lacking.

Ship warps in my capital ship and gets stuck?
Buy new Freighter? Chance of happening again, most likely. No thanks.
Everything is incoherent.

But beautifull though if you have the graphiscs card for it.

Nice game and graphics. Fun too.
Except it is horribly bugged and can't finish a level to continue.

I am a hardcore gamer and I can forgive a bug or two, three, but if it doesn't let me fininish a game....!

Buy a Bad game with no Bugs instead of a good game you can't play.

Horrible game not worth the money.
I found it boring and tiring.
Tried playing it a few more times but it just wouldn't entertain or excite me in anyway.

Graphics are horrible for base designing as well.
Bought it at half the price still to much.
If you reallt want it I wait when it 75 or more off.

Normally I don't do pre-puchase, but I thought hey comon it's Firaxis and Sid and thought lets support them, expecting quality of course as we're used to.

Rather dissapointing.

-:Cons:-
-(player and icon/shield) Colors are fluoresant (excuse english) bright. It's like looking at a bowl of smarties and trying to find your 'yellow' unit between al the others.
-Game has no immersion what-so-ever at all.
-BUY Land to expand city territory. From whom??!! Look in Colonisation you could buy land from indians, okay. But here on an alien planet who are you paying? Who is selling? It is like a rule for a game like colonists of Cathan. There is no logic behind it, it is just a game rule and it shouldn't work like that in a Sid game. If it would have said 'expend energy (to work) to annex the tile to city territory' Okay. But now it is 'Buy land'. It so strange.
-Tech tree is a mess.
-If you have played a Sid game be it Colonisation, Civilization or Alpha Centauri you have played them all. Thing is for this new game they tweaked some rules and game machanics form the old ones. Thing is with that they changed good working and well thought machanics to bad ones.
-A visual upgrade of Alpha Centauri would have been better.
-Price
-Interface looks horrible. Information Icons covering the end turn button.
-Can't end turn with units who still can move. Have to 'idle' them, tell them don't do anything, one by one, so the end turn button becomes visible.

-:Pro:-
-If you haven't ever played a Sid game. You probably won't have any reason to be disappointed with this one.

I actually bought this game by mistake.
I thought it was the game I had watched the trailer of the day before.
But it wasn't. (okay that was dumb)

But after trying it I have only one thing to say:

Steam, how can you guys, in the year 2014, sell a game for almost 25,- euros that looks like it is made for win95.
It might have been okay way back then. But not in these days. It is a graphical horror.
I quit as soon as the map loaded.

Don't buy

I'll put it simply : Plain horrible.

Bad UI
Horrible graphics
Not the real 4x (like masters of orion)
Very small playing field.
Horrible sound and voice.
