I waited a long time to buy this game. Waited for reviews, videos and other sources. After No Mans Land, I don't believe in 1)preordering and 2) buying the game without seeing how it pans out first. I loved Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction for the playstation 2. The open world, shooter/sandbox with a pretty good story line that doesn't interject itself or push the player into it is very appealing to me. This game, I an HD, 12 year, long awaited remake of Mercenaries. If I want to play the Story, I can. If I just wanna drive around and shoot bad guys with cool guys and explosions. I can.

PROS:
+HUGE world
+Gun selection is nice
+Mutliplayer/co-op support
+Storyline
+Progressive difficulty/leveling

CONS:
-AI can be kinda wonky sometimes
-Rebels pass Unidad/narcos and do nothing
-Driving any vehicle is like Need for Speed
-Fast traveling gets rid of any guns you picked up (I wanna keep the M4a1 dang it)
-Lack of variety in vehicles

Bought this game when it was half off during one of the sales and it has been one of my favorite purchases since Rollercoast Tycoon 2. Mechanics are easy to learn and the community isn't cancerous like CSGO. This game is like if Battlefield and Insurgency had a love child ya know? anyways 5/7 would reccomend

Oh boy insurgency. I love this game. It's a hardcore fps shooter and it reminds you of that. Graphics are decent enough to get by and gun mechanics are realistic. If your looking for a realistic shooter that isn't ARMA 3, Insurgency is for you.

Just brings me back to my childhood.

This is a hard review to write because for me, I love Fallout games. I love the idea. I remember sitting through a boring lecture when I saw the tweet. Watched the trailer at least 6 times just within that first hour. I was amazed. Some people nitpicked about certain aspects of the game before it was released i.e. voiced character, "bad" graphics, ect.
My first 10 hours in the game were amazing. Nothing could possibly be wrong with this game. Now a year after the annoucement of the game and 200+ hours logged. I would still reccomend this game.
Pros(+)
-A new Fallout Game
-A different dungon everytime
-Large Crafting system
-Settlement System (could be a con if you want it to)
-Graphics improved from past games
-Learned from F:NV in some aspects
-Improved physics
-Promised DLC
-Character creation greatly expanded
-Inon Zur is just amazing

Cons(-)
-Voiced Character (this doesn't bother me at all)
-No option to be Evil (minus Far Harbor DLC)
-Glitches
-What the hell is a pipegun?
-Story was pretty bad
-Feels like a grind game sometimes
-Loss of RPG feel
--This was a huge Negative for me. Feeling like Fallout isn't a Fallout game can be hard. But it does still fell like a Fallout just a very fast paced Fallout.

Over all I loved Fallout 4 and clearly have logged 200+ without playing any DLC yet.

Ya know, I really do like this game. But something always makes me mad. I get a lot of stuff. Supplies, ammo, guns ya know the whole shabang. But one thing always ruins this game and makes me quit. Hackers. SO MANY HACKERS. Sorry would not recommend until this "anti-cheat" system is fixed

So I have waited a long time for them to fix this game and they have fixed what I addressed as my problem with the game above. But, a new problem has arisen. You either join with a group of friends, or just become an animal fat farm. You will continuously be killed by bigger groups or people who have the means to kill you. You could be naked with only a rock and be standing there, still will kill you. Won't change this to a positive review, but the hacking has been fixed as far as I can tell.

I just recently started playing this game on the PC. Best Game ever. Much like Skyrim with guns and things that go Booom. Once again very impressed with Bethesda. 10/10 replay.
