Early Access Review
The simplest way I've been describing this game to other is that it is llike if Stardew was made inspired by Rune Factory instead of Harvest Moon/SoS. Obviously this doesn't truely describe what it's trying to do but it's a good enough descriptor to get the basic differences.

Things I enjoy:
- The art style is wonderful, the animals are the cutest they could ever be and the characters are diverse and well drawn. You can really tell the pixel art were done by artists that are knowledgeable and care.
- The story/dialogue. So far there is a ton of story already and very little repeat dialogue in my 30 hours so far. I enjoy the Friday nights at the Inn and the changing stories with their DnD campaigns and other games they play.
- The customization. Tons and tons of furniture and character customization that all looks great. The cute animal toys are wonderful as well.

What I don't like:
- The seeds for the farming don't make sense. By this I mean the seeds that cost the most don't really make sense to real world, but even worse the ones that grow once and then need to be replanted versus the ones that continually produce for the season are absolutely wild. An example would be Cucumbers are a 1 crop per seed in game though in real life anyone who has grown a cucumber plant knows you have pickles for a year from 1 plant alone. And on the other end of things the Onions for some reason are continuously producing??? When in real life obviously one onion is one onion. This is a pet peeve of mine in all games that have som aspect of farming but this game has especially wild ones that really threw me off and maybe upset me a little as a gardener. Obviously this is a game not real life but since it's still in early access I'd love if the Devs took a second look at their plants and made sure they made a little more sense. I understand probably not all continuously producing crops should be in the game but there's things like cucumbers or chilis that should be in one of those spots instead of onions imo.

I like what this game has to offer so far and being in early access it feels super promising. The leveling up feels good and more choice driven, and even has story involved just in leveling up your skills. The mines have more going on than just resource farming. There's NPCs who are kinda mean to you, which is refreshing. No minigame parts that make me wanna pull my hair out. And it does away with tons of little machines you need to have (looking at you newer story of seasons and stardew) so you can really make things aesthetically pleasing to your own style. It plays well with time management with its various skills and things aren't just crafted or cooked immediately, and the magic... The magic is intriguing. I'm really interested to see where this game goes. Will update with any changes in opinion/major gameplay.

Hello? Yes? I love this game. V cute, v fun. Good adventure, fun farming sim, nothing scary, lots to discover. Bought while early access, never regretted it. Worth so much more than the price, worth WAY more than what I paid back in early access. Works well both with and without a controller. Endless fun. chickens!

It's Putt-Putt, good fun point and click adventure from my childhood. Still as fun today as it was in the 90s. And runs quite well on newer machines.

Another beautiful story told with a beautiful soundtrack. The story ends up quite different from To The Moon but is beautiful in it's own way. The story is easy to follow but does have it's twists that I personally did not expect as well as some funny extra bits that are seperate from the story. The game like the others was an expierience I was glad to have.

I love this game so much, really reminds me of the point and click games I played when I was younger. I love this genre and I long for more newer games like this. The story is beautiful and engaging. The first time I played it I went in with no knowledge and I think that is the best way to play. There are so many great achievments that reward you for the silly things you do in the game, like rejecting ever flavour of cereal or making Garry grab everything. My only gripe is that speed run achievment, ive played it though as fast as I could and I was over by like 4 min. This game is great, and worth the $20 price, if you can get it on sale that's a steal.

This game means a lot to me, as a 20-something who constantly feels like she's at a dead end it really validated a lot of my feelings and made me feel less alone. Mae is very relatable and her relationships are realistic, she feels like somebody I could have been, as well Possum Springs reminds me of home for some reason, probably all the construction and sinkholes... There are quite a few cute little achivements to earn while playing, I got one just for eating the pizza crusts which I did on my own accord cause that's what I'd do in real life. The art style is beautiful, normally I am against anthropormorphic animals as I normally find them to be disturbing and terrifying, these characters and their desgin game me more of an Animal Crossing feel, safe and comforting, not uncanny and terrifying. The game is rich with so many characters to talk to and locations to explore. There are so many things I missed in this playthough giving this game incredible replayablity.
