Awful. Okay so back to the fun part of describing how the game was. So as a person who played an ungodly amount of star ocean 3 growing up this game was mildly infuriating. I loaded up this game finally wanting to see what it would be like after getting it just to realize oh god these voices. The voices aren't that big of a problem since it's a game that came out in 2009 I can look past that even though it had such little effort put into the voice acting. The plot had potential I'll give it that, but my biggest problem is the fighting mechanics. What in the world was going through their minds as they were making the choices for the fighting mechanics. Somehow we went from the ability to actual make fun combos while fighting in it's predecessor, such as having two options one being light attacks and the other being heavy attacks. The light attacks being useful if you already broke the enemy's shield and want to do some quick damage. Now on the other hand the fighting mechanics are you have one attack and the other button is to do a special to keep the attack going a little. I don't know how they decided that the swap from the old mechanic would be better. The infuriating part about it is that they had such a good thing going with the game they pumped out prior to this one and then they just tried upgrading it as if it would revolutionize the previous way they did it. Honestly just the fighting mechanic alone irritated me to the point of not wanting to play knowing that I'd have to be dealing with that for at least 40 hours just completely shot down any last hope of ever trying to beat this game.

Gotta love getting a game for the 3rd time essentially because you love playing it so much.

Well good potential to be a fun game just find it funny how not even two hours in and already ran into a cheater that doesn't get kicked. Meanwhile I just get a triple kill and get kicked from anti cheat.

Great game lowkey they need to add chucky and the leprechaun though

Honestly one of the few single player games I would want to play a second time.

Amazing game I'll leave it at that.
