It's fantasy ULTRAKILL with melee combat but also a roguelike. It's sick.

Is Dragons Dogma but better. Very fun game so far and look forward to playing it more.

It is terribly optimised though and frame drops are frequent especially in densely populated areas. My PC is better than the recommended specs and still having bad FPS.

The MTXs are there but they're not nearly as bad as everyone sperging out would have you believe.

Wait until optimisation is better to get this game.

Basically just RE4 but it plays better and a few minor tweaks to the story to keep things interesting.9/10. Play this then play the original.

Everyone in game is still really racist.

Elden Ring was a super hyped up game that somehow lived up to the hype. Very rarely does that happen.

Gameplay
Plays like the perfect refinement of Dark Souls combat. All movements are fluid and every addition from previous Souls games such as jumping,the stealth, the horse or even exploring the much larger map are done almost flawlessly. Gameplay wise this game is tight as hell.

Story
Typical Dark Souls style story where you almost wouldn't notice it unless paying very close attention to item descriptions and character dialogue. Still is quite interesting and all of the characters are bosses are really cool.

Open World
The open world is the main selling point of this game and rightfully so. It's very large and it's not like typical Ubisoft large where the only thing populating it is the main story missions +900 collectibles. This game has so many caves/dungeons in it that are completely optional and can even be quite difficult to find. This is a game that respects your intelligence and expects you to be able to figure out stuff by yourself for a large amount of the game. This can be a little much when it comes to certain quests however.

Everything else not explicitly mentioned is among the highest quality that can be seen in videogames. The one thing that I felt was a bit disappointing was the soundtrack, which is by no means bad, but it's not nearly as great as previous Souls games, though it still does have a few standout songs and is much longer compared to the others as well. The sheer value you get from this game as well. I beat this game in 55 hours with some moderate exploring but I by no means 100%'d it.

A modern masterpiece and one of the best games I have played. 9/10
