Fun story experience but could've been better.

The missions for this game were enjoyable throughout, the length felt right, and the story was engaging from the start. There is a good bit of driving, though the game allows you to skip it if you prefer. I was disappointed that there was such a massive world that was great to see but never got a real chance to just explore. I would've loved to fly a drone to the military base or other areas without having to experience them through story only.

The performance defaulted to custom/mostly high and epic for my game. It stayed pretty steady at 60fps with 30fps cutscenes. There was definitely some pop up textures and real time loading as the camera angle would change and you would see low quality textures for a little bit and then they would pop to higher quality. The anti-aliasing or something similar was terrible. There was almost always a shimmer effect. Maybe I made this worse by disabling motion blur, but I think it was doing that before I disabled it as well.

Wouldn't recommend this at any price point above $30, but for a fun story based game that keeps you focused throughout, I would recommend it. I finished it in one day, got every achievement without having to go out of my way to do anything special, and liked the story.

An excellent story through and through. First and last games especially shine as the first had some strange twists and turns and differed from the first trilogy while the third had an incredible score, great mission balance, and both the A and B story were really good.

What little chance I had to play I enjoyed. The characters aren't the most unique but if this game wasn't $40-60 I think it would've had a better chance. Had to make sure I got a few achievements before the shutdown and playing at 2am in the morning wasn't the worst way I could've spent the night.

An excellent, story-filled castle with a decent supporting world around it makes for a ton of fun finding unique collectibles, solving puzzles, and completing the main story. I would fully recommend playing this if you want an open world, light combat game that isn’t a Ubisoft sized mess. The broom also makes traversing the world really easy which is nice. One of the first things I did when I got it was go around and get all fast travel points and that made the later half of the game a lot more fun for me.

This game is an absolute blast! It is visually amazing and the characters are perfectly developed. The two character aspect and supporting cast all play perfectly into an engaging and interesting world. The game play has lots of variety and options for combat and the enemies are fun to fight with great hack and slash combat. My personal requirement for games is having a great HUD/UI system and this game exceeded my expectations in this aspect. The hud is simple and easy to understand at a glance without having to learn about a few hundred mechanics and the weapon upgrade system and menu navigation are great.

Having not played any additional games in the series this game was excellent and I would have to recommend it to anyone who asked. Great story, incredible gameplay, beautiful visuals, and characters that are fun to listen to all make a 10/10 experience.

Freelancer is a blast! This is everything I wanted from an infinitely replayable Hitman. It is much more enjoyable than contracts and the escalations and the equipment systems adds a very interesting twist to levels. Targets aren't absurdly difficult like some contracts and always have some kind of opportunity available with nearby objects or even creative options open by bringing, buying, or scavenging equipment.

I cannot wait for the full release of this and the chance to play hours of extra content in this game!

IOI please give us more Hitman content! Thanks

Short but fun! One achievement is infuriating and requires a button to be clicked quite quickly.

Probably not worth a purchase but I am writing this since anyone who wants to save an awful piece of gaming history should buy this now before it is removed from stores.
