Dead by Daylight is the equivalent of continually hitting yourself in the face with a tennis ball but wanting to keep playing tennis because you don't like other sports.
This is a VERY fun game when it's working, but is prone to a host of bugs and could use with a complete overhaul of some features. The gameplay is typically enjoyable, but if playing alone you'll have the most enjoyment as a killer, otherwise you should hope to have a friend or two that's willing to survive with you.
Whilst holding one button for a long time on a generator can feel boring, running with a killer, losing them in a chase or saving other survivors can be a very rewarding experience.
This is a great way to pass time between more demanding games and will likely have you laughing out loud with people; which is made even more possible due to its crossplay. The only flaw to this use of crossplay is its incredibly lengthy loading times - which you spend half of your time looking at.
Worth checking out and seeing if it fits your taste. 7.2/10
