Incredibly well-made investigation game. The cases come together really well, the first time I had to go back into an old case's files I was absolutely delighted. I still need to play some of the real titans of the genre but this one had me hooked till I beat it.

Only real complaints are that I wasn't a huge fan of the Sonitron system, which felt a touch cumbersome to understand, but maybe that's just a skill issue on my part, and there were a couple times I felt like I had solved a case but there was just one or two things that were wrong, and it was hard to suss out which was wrong. Maybe an option to have the end of case check tell you which part was wrong would be a nice touch?

The hint system is very solid though, it's very good at giving you pointers and having the option to give you the answers if you're really stuck.

Overall it's a pretty short and sweet experience (I played the first few cases in the demo so it was closer to maybe 8-9 hours of playtime for me) and definitely worth the money.

Catgirl is a short (Less than 3 hours) RPG that's silly but also still pretty emotional. It's funny, it's got a good OST, and it's free. If you've got a couple hours free, I highly recommend it.

It's peak. 10/10, would paste me and Eye-Tee onto cave walls 7 times in a row again.

777/10, would defeat the heart with 250 poison stacks after turning my deck into a slot machine again.

In entirely unrelated news, I would like a snecko eye for my own life.

Nope, these aren't off topic. People are telling you not to play this game, the devs are hostile to their playerbase and it's a grindfest even if you do pay, and if you don't? well, good luck.

Y'know, you'd think a developer's priority would be on making the game accessible to as many players as possible.

But instead these ones are faced with the largest backlash in the game's history, and still go through with an update that will have disastrous implications for the community. They acknowledge that the update will not let some people even play their game. And they couldn't give a damn, past promises that it'll be worked on "soon." People have been asking for plenty of important features for years, and still not gotten them. Try a different game.

Personally, I loved Beyond LIght. It was a shame to see some of my favorite weapons sunset, but it forced me to learn new ones and improvise. Was the leveling curve absurdly harsh? Yes. Beyond Light is either a grind or a challenge. And my god, I haven't felt so challenged in Destiny 2 since... Maybe Chasm of Screams for Thorn. Hell, this was harder. It felt like you were fighting for your life the whole time, you couldn't slack on any enemy. It was very intense but so very fun. Part of me wants to keep a contest mode version of the campaign to play at will, just because it's so damn fun. The power trip moments with the Darkness were fun, the enemies were new and interesting, (HARPY WITH LEGS) and I'm ready to go into Season of the Hunt with a good campaign at my back and the incredibly pretty Europa to relax in.

Help Variks, yes?
