A believable and relatable premise leads to exceptionally simple and occasionally mind-rendingly frustrating grid based puzzle gameplay. A kick-ass soundtrack and sharply dressed demon waifus top the cake.
Its short, but its free.

A charming game with a lot of heart. I'm sure if you're reading this you already know what you need to.
Amazing music, lovable characters, and a unique take on turn based RPG battles.
Can't recommend this game enough, especially if you're playing blind.

With a lovely premise, adorable sprites, and relaxing music, Stardew Valley sets out to elicit the romanticized dream of throwing away one's menial and soul crushing life as a corporate slave living in the big city, and instead grow closer to nature and build oneself up with the honest work of farming, ranching, woodcutting, mining, fishing, and adventuring, as well as taking a part in a small but close village community.
With the game focused around how efficiently you spend your time and money in real time, pretty much everything you do, whether it be tending crops, talking to the townsfolk, or even just digging random holes in the middle of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nowhere will be rewarded in some way or another.
Its a massive time sink, but the game saves at the end of every day, so you can play a multi-week marathon, or sessions of day by day if you want.
I can't reccomend this game enough. Its oozing with charm and is well designed with so many things to do its almost frustrating knowing that you can't get everything on the first, or maybe even second pass through the game.

Early Access Review
Stable multiplayer is something this game was definitely missing. The workshop access is excellent too. They may have added these things ages ago, but I'm definitely enjoying them now, compared to before when I first wrote my review for this game.
