Early Access Review
My Time at Sandrock is an absolute upgrade from it's predecessor. While playing Portia there were many mechanics and quality of life changes I craved and nearly ALL of them have been either fixed, replaced, or mastered in My Time at Sandrock.

The NPCs have LIFE in this game. Each with their own voice acting (and the quality of VA work drastically improved between games) and stories.

While you'll find your role at Sandrock is the same as Portia, your ability to conduct your work is streamlined beautifully.

If you played My Time at Portia & enjoyed it, you will THRIVE at Sandrock. If you've not played My Time at Portia and find yourself playing other farming life sim type games like Stardew Valley, Sun Haven, or Traveller's Rest, you will absolutely appreciate the amount of time, effort, fun, and beauty this game has to offer.

Takes Drawful from Jackbox or sribbl.io and blows them out of the water.

The superior drawing party game.

This game exceeds expectations, coming from someone who wasn't hyped for it over the duration of the delays. The people who are saying it is a buggy mess, or whatever, I am unsure, because I haven't had a single issue in the 20 hours I have played the game.

The city is alive, and I get so sidetracked doing little missions around Night City instead of focusing hard on the main story. I genuinely can't wait for multiplayer in this game & hope the rest of the experience is as damn good as the current 20 hours.

This game takes the best parts of Stanley Parable, and mashes it with the progressive puzzle difficulty of Portal 2 (you know, minus the portals). This game is a psychological mess in the best way possible, increasingly adding to the amount of your mind that is needed to figure out the puzzles. It utilizes perspective as a game mechanic to trouble the player into believing they are getting trapped deeper and deeper into their dreams, and successfully tells that story without fumbling around the concept.

What this game currently lacks, in my opinion, is replayability, but I wholeheartedly expect that to change when the workshop content arrives in December. If you are a puzzle game lover, delve in. Treat yourself.
