I used to love this game very much; but now there's no reason for a fan of the game to play it. Payday 2 has become nothing more than a cash cow and they're milking their players for all they've got. For anyone reading this I encourage you to just search the web for the payday 2 AMA that their lead developer made just after crimefest 2015.

Someone on the payday2 subreddit also noticed that the new weapon rebalance are balanced around having those stat boosting skins aswell. There are several breakpoints that make the guns as good as they used to be ONLY if you have the appropriate skin to boost the stats. I can verify because I got the achievements that unlock 2 free safes and one of them had a stat boosted skin that made my concealment +1 (which is important for stealthing heists) as good as it used to be before the "rebalance".

This game is not for anyone that cares about the game anymore. Don't play it. Don't buy it. Don't talk about it. Let it fade into the darkness like a friend that has gone mad shortly before their death. Keep the fond memories but don't forget the bitter reality.
