this game satisfies my primal desire to have a horse care simulator with gun mechanics. what else do you need in life?

Runs slowly even with all the graphics settings set to low, but that's due to my elderly computer rather than any obvious flaw in the game itself.

In less than half an hour of gameplay I collected several skulls and a pair of unusable boots, was startled by my butler making comments at seemingly random moments, suffered food poisoning thanks to questionable food choices, and was shot in the face by a dapper robot. I look forward to repeating the experience.

I've finally found something that I think DC does better than Marvel - MMOs. The massive amounts of expensive DLC are annoying on principle, but I've been able to have a crapton of fun running around with friends and only hit one really inconvenient paywall so far. My biggest gripe is actually the PvP matchmaking. I've tried arena battles a few times and either I'm curbstomping my opponent or I'm getting curbstomped by someone ten levels above me. The download and installation took forever, but it was worth the wait. I love the customization options and especially love that the game lets me display whatever style of gear I prefer instead of trading a good appearance for good stats when equipping a new item.

The idea of being able to play as my favourite superheroes was appealing so I gave it a shot despite the poor reviews. I should have listened to them. The voice acting was less than impressive (Rocket in particular made me cringe), there are very few heroes to choose from as starting options, and I was bored as heck after only a few hours of gameplay. Marvel may own my soul but they still can't make me play this game again. As much as it pains me to say this, DC's MMO is much better.
