God I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of this game.

Backstory time. In the beginning. I did not very much see the appeal of the first game. I put off playing it and getting it for the longest time until it was available through PlayStation plus on my PS4/5. I gave it a shot and I slowly started warming up to it. Enjoying the build crafting experience of the decks I could make with each character and made me sink in a lot of time into the first game across console and pc.

This game however, expands upon what built the first game, keeping the same core gameplay and pov of it that games sometimes do (such as Helldivers and risk of rain).

The animations look fresh, the card unlocks are awesome and even some characters who I thought were arguably weak in the first game have adapted to fit in multiple play styles for each character available. I have loved the two new characters both with unique gimmicks to their own identities. My personal favorite being the regent and making the sword hit big numbers gives me a rush of dopamine every time I use it.
