It's simply a beautiful experience

Dota 2 is a fast paced team based strategy game with a heavy influence on skill. An obvious comparison tom make is to League of Legends or Heroes of Newerth but these games are generally more friendly to beginers were as dota 2 is much more unforgiving. It is possible to lose a single teamfight early on and then lose the game because of it. This is where the teamwork, strategy and skill would come into play.

The teamwork and strategy are arguably the more important aspects of the game as if you play well and communicate with the rest of your team, you can make up for a lack of skill though the teamwork and strategy are skills that you learn as play the game. You can make up for a lack of skill by playing easier heroes such as bane or crystal maidan as these heroes are usually just there to harass the enemies early game and help in team fights mid and late game while also buying wards and supportive items for the team, though there other heroes that fit this purpose these examples are some of the easier options.

If you have bothered to read all of this review so far then you might have realised that there is a lot of depth in this game, and I haven't even gone over everything, and becasue of all of this depth there is a particular group of people that this game is aimed at. If you are someone who enjoys taking on a challenge and overcomming it with lots of practice then this game is for you, however if you are the type of person that would rather be able to learn the entire game in 20 hours then this ghame is not for you because most people can take around 75 hours of play time to just get the hang of it and then another 225 hours to be considered decent though that does vary from person to person.

After having played a total of 840 hours of the game at the time of writting this review i can recommend this game to anyone who is willing to put the time in to get good and if you find the right teacher, then the game is fun from the first tutorial onwards.
