Let's be honest we all have played Europa Universalis, this game is the "No, we have Europa Universalis at home". Don't get me wrong the game is amazing and is worth the 9.99eur. You can tell that the game was made by only one person, and that's what makes this game so unique. It cannot take on Europa Universalis, but it is possibly the best "strategy games" in this price category.

I played 3 campaigns, Two of which i died instantly because i wasn't given any time to actually learn the game functions since bordering countries decided it was enough. and just beat me to a pulp. Great, restart!
Next nation was the exact same story.

The third country, took it further away from any countries so i wouldn't get in any conflicts while i learned the mechanics, then slowly i started to expand for around 150 in game years, at which point i was confident i was strong enough to take on another country. Boy was i right, they were absolute pulp after a single battle with a 34 stack army. after that the ball started rolling faster and faster.
You start declaring wars left and right, annexing nations and declaring more wars. Until eventually you realize you are in a coalition war with half of the American continent. Cue worried army production, go 200k over your 70k army cap and still have a profitable economy. wonderful, you realize your army is the next wehrmacht, so you steam roll a coalition of 500k soldiers while losing only 50k soldiers. at which point you.
eventually you are a prepetual war machine stuck in a grimdark world where women and men are thrown to the frontlines, women give birth while gunning down the enemy the same baby picks up an A4M1 in a war against the byzantine empire in 1253AD in New York next to the statue of liberty that you constructed to get a buff to manpower. For every man dead 10 new are thrown to the fronts.
When you finish a war, then 10 new wars pop up. eventually you will just have the whole world under your control, without a single rebellion because you haven't been taxing your citizens since 1044AD.
at around 1400 or so you manage to unlock nukes so you decide to nuke a province with 500k popolation to only 1 population, just for the ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles.

On a serious note the game is really early into it's development and has a long way to go, there are a lot of quality of live items missing like having a 'Build all" button, like coring has.
aside from the world conquest in 400 or so years early game is actually quite interesting and offers quite a challenge if you start as a small nation. what it is lacking is a tech limiter system like Europa Universalis has.
I will definitely be playing this again.

First Time playing rust POV:

- get wood, stone
- Hear shots, hide

While playing this game, i wish i didn't have eyes.

Before i started playing this game, i didn't know a word of Russian.
Now i am fluent in Russian, and have very many Comrades who are Russians.

If you like staring at a map for the next 13 hours, i suggest you buy the game

This game was the worst, thing i have ever seen in my life. I feel bad for the people who payed the full ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amount for the game.
