TLDR: Toxic players, un-regulated cheating, and now Epic Exclusive..... This is an easy hard no bud!!!

So overall I had fun with Rocket League in the beginning. Select your car, customize it how you like, and enjoy some mindless vehicular soccer. Even with the extremely toxic community that plays it, it was a very unique, albeit repetitive, game idea. It was one of those easy to play, difficult to master kind of games. However it quickly went downhill with a toxic community, devs that don't seem to care about their game, and excessive unregulated cheating. And now purchased and removed from Steam Store by Epic Games. It had a good run and was relatively fun in the beginning but as with all things Epic touches, it is now an exclusive pile of steamy cr@p.

Let's Play: REIGNS
https://youtu.be/z4jI5eH22aA

Reigns is a great little game that really captures that classic choose your own adventure feel. You play as a young king who assumes the throne after the previous king died. Each turn is 1 year and each year you are presented with a request, problem, or event which requires you to decide between two options. The result of your choice will effect one or more of your kingdoms 4 groups, the church, the people, the military, and the treasury. Your object is to rule as long as possible, keeping all 4 groups happy, while completing objectives. You do this until you inevitably die to the plauge, the angry mob, the religious zealots, your dinner, or any other number of things that can kill you in this game. You then assume the role of the next young king and do it again.

-PROS:
- Great content for the price
- Decent replayability
- Easy to pickup and learn
- Enjoyable and funny gameplay
- Steam Achievements

-CONS:
- Events tend to repeat, could use more events
- At certain points there is no way to keep your king alive

TLDR: Great game to just sit down and play. For the price, absolutely recommend!!!

Let's Play: Tavernier
https://youtu.be/mU9d0Z1INA8

Tavernier is a great little game that combines tavern management with what feels like a classic childhood choose your own adventure book. You inherit a tavern and it is your job to turn a profit while deciding what groups of townspeople to support. The gamepley itself is very simple and easy to pickup. Each turn, depending on the amount of coin you have, you can unlock more items to sell, purchase decorations to help increase your tavern rating and cashflow, or buy more furniture to allow more patrons access to your tavern (tavern management). Once you have finished this, you click a button to advance time one week and are presented with a random event for which you must choose a response (choose your own adventure). The choice you make generally does not have major consequences to the game and rather affects patronage of a group or your coin reserves. It then shows you your cashflow and you do it again for the next game week. This is basically the game.

-PROS:
- Artstyle is unique and enjoyable
- Easy to pickup and learn quickly
- Good story and content for price
- High replayability value
- Steam Achievements

-CONS:
- Short storyline
- Could use more objects and food to buy
- Random event choices dont really matter overall

TLDR: Great little game for the price. Absolutely recommend!!!!

Pretty good game for work or somewhere else that does not require a lot of attention. Basically you start with a town and build up your empire, fighting wolves and bandits, and claiming more land for your kingdom. Each action takes a set amount of real time so queue up your actions and just let it run in the background. Not bad if you are looking to kill time, but don't expect it to fill a void in your open gaming schedule.
