This is the video game equivalent to Megadeth's 1990 Album "Rust In Peace".
With that album, Megadeth perfected music. The perfect album exists, yet artists persist in their futile attempts to do something else with the art form. Art is done in this medium, there's no reason to keep making songs.

Gungeon is that, but it's a video game. They're making a second one and it won't be the pure, perfect art this one is. Play this one. Buy it now. Experience the art form, perfected. Take it inside of you.

It's like if you were listening to "Lofi Beats to Study/Chill to" back in the day, but you get to customize the outfit headphone girl is wearing and the room she sits in. It also comes with useful productivity tools built-in, but nothing you can't already do with Windows. It's nice to leave on an unused monitor while you're studying/working. I would recommend it if you're someone who likes a little background noise to focus.

Also there's pets I guess

I don't know what would compel someone to write this but it was a consistently intriguing way to spend two hours.
I think I might be media illiterate -- or they put in random chase sequences with increasingly strange horror creatures in order to justify it being called a game.
Overall it's a good movie to play through. Just get used to walking around looking for some not-so-obvious objects for a bit. 6/10.
Actually, 7/10, because what I will refer to as the "medicine noises" made me simultaneously want to throw my headphones across the room and also very sad. The sound design evoked a weird empathetic terror which deserves its own point.

There is a game here, and it can be entertaining to play, but the question asked to my by Steam is "Would you recommend this game to other players?" and the answer is currently no.

Is the game good? Yeah, In concept, absolutely. In execution, it ranges from passable to mediocre to downright sloppy in its worst moments. It's fun, but in those moments between, it's a frustrating nuisance you learn to navigate while circumventing the consequences of other players navigating it slightly differently than you did a few feet away. You can be flawlessly executing an operation as a unit, completely in sync with one another, and get stopped dead in your tracks by a threat none of you happened to bring the correct tool to mitigate. And that's just the non-meta-contextual gameplay complaints.

To recommend this game to another player is to ask them to bet $40 that the developers will eventually get out of their own way. I don't think they will, so I will not recommend this game to other people, simple as that. I will continue to play it, and will be pleasantly surprised if Arrowhead turns it around, but it still doesn't quite feel like Helldivers 2 delivers on all of the promises implied by the marketing, devs, community managers, and general scope.

It comes really close to being a really innovative masterpiece but they consistently miss the mark on higher difficulties, which makes the game feel unfinished. I'm sure the devs didn't intend for three Bile TItans to spawn simultaneously from the same breach on this difficulty 6 blitz mission with only two players. Right?

Hey so I spent 3 days (72 Hours) playing this game over the course of about 26 days.
I don't even like poker all that much. I think this is that game everyone got addicted to on that episode of Star Trek TNG. Probably don't buy this if you're a serious person with real things to do. Otherwise absolutely sacrifice multiple days of your life to the brain-activating power of definitely-not-poker and make numbers go way up until you find a way to replace REM sleep with visualizing scientific notation across a hand of playing cards

One of Steam's greatest hidden gems you've probably never heard of. "Elden Ring" is a first-in-its-franchise game from a small Japanese studio called "From Software". You play as Tarnish, a warrior from a remote island called "Anticipation". One day, Tarnish's best friend Scion goes mad and kills Tarnish! So they embark on an adventure to get revenge.

Along the way, a magic horse asks Tarnish to please kill god. The revenge thing kinda becomes irrelevant.

If you like story-driven games, fantasy games, or have ever heard of a little indie title called "Dark Souls", then Elden Ring is the game for you.

Baby's first soulslike. Don't get me wrong, it's good, but it's only as hard as you make it.
As a souls veteran, the early parts of the game were the hardest. Everything after spearfishing and the mantis punch was trivial. I realize I could've not used them, but to set arbitrary challenges like that for oneself on the first playthrough isn't really experiencing the game as intended. I was disappointed that none of the assist features could make the game harder. I was similarly disappointed to find there was no NG+.

All of that said, it's a pretty, well-made platformer. It's like if Battle for Bikini Bottom was trying to be Dark Souls (and mostly succeeding). The writing is okay, the little jokes are fun, and the voice acting is neat. Check it out to support the studio if nothing else, but you should be able to squeeze two dozen hours of fun or so out of this game.

Give this to your kids if you want them to grow up to be good at video games

It's like if Dark Souls was first person and had all the in-depth combat of minecraft.
I know that doesn't sound fun but also I think I will do it for another 90 hours

It's like playing slay the spire four times simultaneously

It's a little bit too easy once you get over the not-small learning curve

I recommend playing this with your friends and smoking lots of weed
