Early Access Review
This feels like the LEGO Technic Racers game we never got. Holy crap, this is fun and addictive, especially for folks who enjoy games where you build or customize things. This is off to a great start, but it's also got a long way to go.

Things that need improvement/bother me:
Biggest problems:
Auto-reversing camera is your worst enemy. It's caused me more crashes than anything else because I spin the camera around, only to be inverted against my will, over and over again. If you fix nothing else, fix this by letting the player turn it off.

Build menu for parts can be a pain, if you aren't careful you will get TAB and E mixed up, and accidentally buy a part you didn't need. Right now there is now way to sell off extra parts you aren't using, so beware.

Bugs, and things that probably should be addressed.
I'd love to be able to zoom out during a race to see more of the track and my surroundings.
Hidden treasure chests sometimes stay on the map until you reload the entire game.
Left/right driving controls occasionally will invert, or a wheel will stop steering altogether.
If you press 4 or 6 key to re-orient your vehicle in build mode, sometimes this will make transmissions no longer drive the rest of the drive train. You gotta remove and re-insert that part to reconnect things.

Nitpick: Some components cannot be repainted to make them easily spotted in the build process. I totally get why you can't do that, but still... it can ruin the aesthetic.

All that said, this is a great idea, and with more time, debugging, and polish, I would totally pay real money for something like it. I salute the devs on their work!

It's Command & Conquer / Red Alert modernized properly, but without quashing the original charm that made the games special. Attention to detail has been impeccable, resulting in a no-nonsense game play experience. Finally being able to play skirmishes in C&C, easy multiplayer, and a superb sound track all culminate in one of the most satisfying C&C release in 20 years for me. If you liked either of the first two titles in the series, I highly recommend this version.
