This game is great if your IQ is above 75. The Micro transactions are purely aesthetics and scrolls (Easily purchasable) which you aren't forced to buy. I of course got just about all the transactions they offered because I like the game and the skins are cool. Get over yourself if you're crying about the battle pass just don't buy it and keep blowing your money on cigarettes. The game is 10/10 will buy every battle pass.

I do not recommend this game in it's current state. The past update was the first in exactly 2 months and it did not fix everything. There are about 1500 players on daily but not all at once so you'll run into the same people very often. The devs seem to not joy for the game they created and they do not listen to fans. For $40 I would not recommend this unless you're Bill Gates then you wouldn't mind the $40 price tag. There is simply not enough content for this to be worth the same price as Overwatch. I hope the game is repaired and maintained or this will be dead by christmas.

I was super excited for this game before it launched years ago. I had played the closed alpha, open beta, and I purchased
the $80 edition for Xbox One. At first it was worth it I loved to play the game for hours at a time. It was very balanced 4v1 that it required old school and state of the art tracking to find the monster before he could evolve. It was essential to bring a wellbalanced team to work with each other in order to succeed in their hunt.

After a while some new hunters were released; later on some more. However it was then that they had changed the name
of the season pass. The season pass many had previously paid for with the deluxe edition, or standalone was now season passone and soon after a second one. Scoring money from the fans was their main goal which they eventually ran dry on.
I had played this game daily for months it was near perfect in every aspect. After I had switched to PC gaming
I didn't play Evolve very much and soon not at all.

Recently I have gotten into it again now that it's available on PC F2P.
I gave it a shot and to my surprise they changed so much and not for the better; characters, stats, abilities, perks, maps, etc...It was all to aim at one objective and that was to profit again from their very few fans they have remaining in the community.
In game the monster feels extremely underpowered when against the universal hunter dome and the planetary scan.
When prior it required tracking and teamwork to find and trap the monster. Usually you would sneak at spawn
to hide your position from the hunters. Now within 20 seconds a planetary scan reveals your location and any one hunter
can reach out to you and dome you. At stage one with very little health and domed often with little to no armor.

This was the greatest hide and seek game made it had required skill and adaptability. Now it's just a monster survival simulator with less than 200 avg players daily never surpassing 1000 players within the last 10 months.
This game was ruined by the devs the moment they stopped actively supporting the game and charging
more for content that was already paid for. Skins that were not worth much now for monsters that were free and easily unlockable. It's a PTW 5 minute match of who can kill the monster first rather than a 4v1 clash between hunters and a ferocious beast. I would not recommend this game until it is fixed which will probably never happen.

The game is very casual and is being made easier for newer players which ends up making it harder for vets. With the game becoming easier to play for killers it doesn't leave much to work to improve your skill. As a new player you will find yourself getting bullied as a survivor and as a killer. Since launch the trials have been dictated by survivors since holding M1 on a generator dictates where the game goes. The devs do nothing but place bandages on the games scars rather than fixing them entirely. Not only do they fix very little every few months but they also do not ban hackers which there are so many. Easy anti-cheat is a joke that has been bypassed every patch since launch allowing others to ruin the game and bypassing the entire progression system within an hour. Even if the "progression" is done correctly it doesn't take long before you have all the teachables. For survivor it doesn't matter who you play since they're all the same so 1 survivor with all perks is enough. Killers are different where as each has their own power but half of which are useless at higher ranks. The ranking system is a joke that seems as if it was designed by a toddler allowing anyone to reach max rank based on their monthly hours rather than their skill. I do have nearly 2100 hours at the time of writing this but I wish I never got past 500. The only thing that has kept me playing for this long is the people I've met and playing with friends is the only good thing to do just to fool around. All in all I do not recommend this game to anyone who wants to make this into a game they'd wish to play often. Until the game is fixed which doesn't seem like it's anytime within the foreseeable future I do not recommend this game to any new players.

The game is fun at first but then it's just a cycle of building, raiding. and getting raided. They really don't do much in terms of game changing updates. They've upgraded visuals and they've added new guns constantly but it's the same game with the same cycle and after a few times of having to restart and do the same thing over and over it's not fun anymore. You can play this game for 10 hours and you would have experienced more than enough of what the game has to offer. After years of being in alpha they yet to officially release the game or even fix performance issues. Unless they make a major change and take the game in a new direction I don't think I would ever play it again.
