Another Great RE game, i loved it, combat is amazing(except Grace parts where you have to deal with annoying stalker enemy), destroyed Raccoon City looks phenomenal.

Pros:
- Graphics
- Combat in case of Leon its like RE4R but Grace is old survival horror RE
- Story
- Raccoon City looking really great after nuke
- Perfomance is alright
Cons:
- Honestly the only con for me would be that Grace in first parts of the game has this annoying "The Girl" stalker enemy at first moments when you dont have a gun it would be alright but when i had to deal with this in another three areas later it was really annoying, i would prefer explore in peace without worrying it might jump out of sudden behind me and kill me in nearly one hit.

Love survival horror games, hence im trying to play any that i find out on steam, either its VR game or Flatscreen game but jesus this game is so glitchy.
-Controls are terrible i keep grabbing often my knife than ammo to reload my handgun or smg.
-Doors keep glitching non stop and are hard to open
-Second boss in the middle of fight fps started dropping to around 40-50 for no reason
-In mines chapter at the start when driving a mine cart my character was in laying position and camera kept spinning around until i restarted chapter
-Also mines chapter, when reached the part with turning bridges their turning animation is so laggy as if the animation was playing at 15fps
-Mines chapter as well bat enemies keep spawning even if you destroy their spawn points bug


There is more bugs obviously but i dont remember them since i was flooded with glitches.

Also where are graphic settings since this is a PC version of the game?

Would like to give it a positive review cause the game is great gameplay wise like every borderlands but.. its so terribly optimized mix of high-medium settings with dlss quality at 1440p resolution and im only getting 60-90fps with RTX 4080 this is straight up unaccetable perfomance...

As someone who have played every previous painkiller, i'm enjoying this, i'm glad they tried something new instead of copy paste old gameplay which started to get boring at the time, we need something fresh and this is it.
Game is optimized well and looks good as well, combat is fun too, coop with a friend is very enjoyable.
So... ignore haters and enjoy the game.
PS: Just because gameplay is different doesnt mean the game cant have a painkiller name.
PS2: Thanks for clowns(free points) haters, that proves you are so mad about the fact im not nostalgia blinded and i enjoy the reboot.

In short, Masterpiece.

After 61 hours im enjoying the gameplay and even with the changes the game still feels like KF to me but the game is terribly buggy, i can't even explain this in words, i have never seen in my life any game with this many bugs such as...

-Character freezes and is unable to move until match ends when Scrake uses their ability on you and meanwhile the animation plays someone from your team stops it
-Very often crashing on nearly top PC such as 9800x3d and RTX 4080
-VTOL intro when you start a match randomly appearing during match, causing you to die on HoE difficulty because when the intro appears you cant do anything but the zeds can kill you just fine...
-Unable to fire weapons when you have them fully reloaded until you die and respawn or quit match
-Random Zeds getting stuck on their spawn, where you cant kill them, forcing you to quit match once again...
-Infinite matchmaking bug where you have to quit to title screen and re-join again to try to see if its gonna work this time(wonder why there is no cancel matchaking button though)
-Sometimes, when you slide, you are unable to stand up from crouch for some reason
-Weapons disappearing in your hand randomly, so the bullets fly out of air


There is about 100 more bugs like this, so i'll give positive review once TW fixes the bugs.

On top of that perfomance just sucks thanks to UE5 and game constantly stutters during matches.

My personal GOTY of 2025, ID Software never disappoints. The game is better along with D2016(gameplay wise)for me than Doom Eternal, graphics also look def better, if you aren't blind(as most people are) you will see the graphics is significantly better than eternal thanks to ray tracing. Also the game doesnt stutter at all, no matter what happens on the screen, considering there is also a lot going on in the background but the game remains stutter free and performance is good as well if you don't have potato PC from 2015 year or so.
The shield mechanic is great, i prefer parrying with shield over jumping like crazy with pressing "100 buttons" at once in Doom Eternal while the game still remains challenging on nightmare difficulty.
The Dragon and mech parts are cool, it's nice to see ID trying to experiment and add something new to DOOM series.
Music isnt as good as the one from Mick Gordon though i still like it, the only issue for me is, the mixing is terrible and during gameplay all the effect sounds are way louder even at lowered volume than music at 100%.

Moh Stutter and Beyond

Imagine needing DLSS to run this properly with RTX 4080 at 1080p and still runs like garbo with DLSS quality drops to 50fps, on top of that this is freaking blurry even at quality preset, so dont bother wasting time on this, better install graphic mods for org hl2 and play like that with normal perfomance and no blurry crap.

I've always wanted to play an Alien game in VR, and there we got it, its not the best experience due to some problems but the game is still alright, i enjoyed it. Since the dev team already announced development on part two, i hope they gonna get rid of infinite alien spawns and just make fixed spawns, so you can in peace explore and read emails and loot ammo etc, also please for part two, optimize the game better, its running poorly on RTX 4080 32GB ram combined with R7 9800X3D, had to lower settings and resolution about 20% percent to keep stable 90fps most of the time.
