Extremely disappointing.

Starbreeze had a perfect template of Payday 2 to go off of and completely abandoned it.

Concealment system/ Stealth is practically gone, and as of right now there is no downside bringing an m700 to stealth a bank instead of a compact smg.

Load outs and customization is bland and trapped behind a level system.

Online only is an extremely head scratching move, not sure why the option to solo offline was removed

Skills tree is bare bones, you cannot branch into specialized areas, its basically the perk deck.

AI is relatively poor as well, both companion and police

Not sure why and Overkill weapon drop was added, cool concept but poorly implemented, At this point your only options are a heavy sniper and a grenade launcher

Speaking of weapons, there are roughly 18 or so at launch, when Payday 2 had double if not triple at launch.

I do not recommend this game in its current state, buy Payday 2 if you haven't. It seems like they wanted focus on the gun play and loud bank heists only.

This game is a step up and should not be missed if you like LOTR or just kicking Orc's in the face.

This game out of all I would have to say is the complete worse. My Career mode is even more of a grind than last years game. The 3pt and 2pt shot meter is extremely broken, even if you have a "good" shot you have an 80% chance of missing while wide open. You arent allowed to ball out during my career and are stuck sitting on the bench for most of the games or in one of the many unskippable cutscenes. The storyline is aweful and the amount of cheaters in the game is horrifying. Please just stick to last years game or spend you money on NBA Live.

I am a huge payday fan and I love every single DLC thats come out... besides this one. I dont care much about the price since overkill just previously release Hoxton Breakout, Hoxton and John Wick for free, and stuff including with said items. But this heist is not even challegening nor fun, plus the reward isnt even that great. First off there are a ton of bugs, its a given to recieve bugs on any new game/DLC but there is an outragous amoint in this heist. For example, when you actually get into the puzzle room, you cant be the host to go over each piece because once the timer runs out its game over. Another example is somestimes if you arent the host and grab the diamond , it disappers and is never to be seen again. If you get lucky and actually get the diamond, the payout for it (or atleast on overkill difficulty) is 150 k, which to me is garbage. Especially if you stealth and it takes around 20 min to try to get the achievement when you aren't detected and then bam! you are detected. On Hoxton Breakout you recieve 12 million or so when completion (on overkill difficulty), which is awesome, but you are saving a crewmate and not stealing anything besides intel on who put Hoxton to jail. Especially if its this "legendary" diamond from ancient times, i kind of expect it to be worth a little more. This DLC isnt all bad, the fact that you cant take artifacts from the musuem is pretty cool personally. If you are thinking about buying this DlC dont, yet. Wait until Overkill releases new patches to make all the painful bugs go away. Once and if they are gone then my opinion will change.
