Dark Souls 3. I know I'm late to the game, but I just realized:
I'm having a whole new nightmare of fun and games. And the best part? It's fun. Even if it might be a bit scary. :O

Four words: The game's simply amazing.

Space/Shooter games were my favorite, even since my childhood. Blasting down other spaceships? A blast. Flying around? Speed of sound? Definitely mindblowing. And all the other stuff I didn't even mention? Awesome.

For the record, I'm simply amazed by the way it's played: trading, exploration, combat, you name it. And the fact that the game's highly moddable, makes it stand out even more. I'm just mindblown, mindblasted, just so addicted, and there's all that. It's so addicting that I play until midnight, that it comes to be a bit of a problem.

And there's a few problems to name after describing how good it generally is. Frankly, I'm hoping for more storylines. Because there's only one storyline: Join the Free Worlds, Oppose other factions, etc. And doing that takes mid-heavy grinding and effort. Getting cash is hard, and downright tedious. Your mortgage payment is heavy, and otherwise pressingly cash-burning. And those are some problems to name. Worst of all of them, is the fact that there's only ONE joinable faction. The one storyline only allows you to join the Southern World Pact/Free World Pact. And that's just it. Stay a merchant, or join the Free Worlds. And it's just so sad, you can't start off joining the Republic/Navy and reach out for becoming a patriot, protecting the galaxy. I've always been thinking they'd been the major faction you can only join... But it's not.

Overall, this game erupts with fun. The game is free to play, and as soon as you start playing, you're just about to start a voyage, an adventure within the galaxy. So, what if there's a few problems? I still enjoy the game itself.

Nonetheless, it's definitely a BLAST.

"Because when you die, you're dead."

Think again, you're not dead anymore.

Now look around, feel your blood rot, with the sensations of being a Hollow.

Now, basically saying, I'm speechless. Although my PC is kinda lackluster, I'm still able to run this BEAST of a game. (Talk about it, I only run this at 15FPS!)

This is an RPG. You hunt monsters, you farm, you level up, grind, kill other players, slay bosses, hav s--, etc.

In general, Dark Souls is really, really dark. And sometimes, you feel like you just don't want to, or just can't play it just because you're too scared....to die. Not that dying is fun or anything, but the game itself just really introduces a whole new kind of level. Yes, this game is LEVELED. And it's level, is beyond DEATHWISH level. But one thing in mind, is that the game is simply "elementary."

Several storylines of the game is one thing. It sometimes plain pains you to see that character die in the end of the storyline, or meet his end somewhere, or even grieve over a loss or even a lost quest for....something..... Though with deep storylines come deep rewards. Soon, you'll feel something "immortal" when you recompress, and recover from the darkness and depth of the heart-touching stories. And once you get used to the game, you're truly peaked out. Along with the game's elements, such as gear/equipment, skill, morale, cooperativity/competitivity, you'll be leaving the other Undead folk in the dirt, and you'll soon be ready to ascend.

Equipment. Where the game allows you to choose from the WIDEST varieties of gear, such as weapons (sharp, stabby daggers to BFS's to even massive gigantic bows), armor (heavy, light, whatever you wanna wear), and even consumable equipment, you'll be DYING to find the stuff you want. But this isn't a scavenger hunt. And you need just what you really need to get the desired build indeed. Getting too much could mean too many. And you could only have so many. But with the good stuff, you're prepped for death, and destiny. Too many or too little would both rather cause your fall.

Skill. The game isn't all about equipment. You too will need skill, and even a little faith will help you out. Technique is key to many things: things like killing a boss, fighting random players, clearing out rooms of enemies, evading traphouses, or even killing that old stone-armored freak in the basement. The game will also test your skill, and specially in a hardcore manner. Being that death is easy, and none is not, you won't have much of a choice but to die in-game. Faithfulness is also one key element which carries you through the game. When you feel like you just can't make it, and you'll die and lose all your souls in the end, just have faith and DO IT. So don't be scared to hunt hollows, snakemen, dragons, etc. You just need to add a little faith. And that's that.

Jolly Coop/Competitivity. Lastly, cooperation and competition are also major elements of the game. There are these moments when you absolutely need assistance taking down a hard boss, or just positively, deliberately go for the kill, looking for souls and humanity, then it's your choice, and your move. There's an endless possibility of multiplayer options that will either hinder one in their paths, or further them on their mission, there'll always be a way to do these.

My personal experience? The first time I played this game, I was highly frustrated, ticked off, wishing to quit, etc. the feelings boiled. Til then, a day after, I got to playing it again, I finally carried on, and a few tips got me on my feet. Surely, ingame deaths were numerous. EXPLOSIVELY numerous. But who cares? Who gives a curse? Death is part of the experience. And the full Dark Souls experience, is deathly, but fun. And no doubt, there's a few teachings in game. You just gotta find out yourself, just as I do, as there are hidden meanings in the storylines.

Now as for the Prepare To Die Edition, I must say, this game never ceases to amuse me. And with a "Free DLC" comes an extra free smile on my face. Rationally, I'd say, "this game is SUBLIME." And by that, I mean, with the extra content, this game excels to please me. Though I still do rage, this game made me happier, than many other game would have. And seeing Artorias answered me that question, "Who was that Artorias person anyway?" So I figured out that Dark Souls was always, dark.

But don't be afraid to shine your light, buy Dark Souls PTDE, and save Lordran from the brink of darkness today!

One Way Heroics...

...one of these classic old-school RPG games...

...takes me back to my childhood days. I've been playing these old-school style RPG games ever since I was a kid. The 16-bit pixel art, the MIDI music, the traditional, square-grid map....oh everything!

Also gotta LOVE the online features of it, getting to see other players, and their fates/victories...just WONDERFUL.

This game hits the spot; I'm on the spot. *COLLAPSES*

....

*gets up*

"There's an adventure, bound for everyone; fate isn't the end, it's just only the beginning, 'til the time comes."

*takes a step*

*follows the light*

*THE END.*

P.S. this is a masterpiece. 10/10

Early Access Review
Played this game ALOT back then, a year ago.

Suddenly....
When I enter a battle, either the game trolls me by not showing the numbers in the chart, queue number, etc...
or when I enter a battle, nobody appears in-game, or everyone stops moving and FREEZES.
lastly, when i quit/selfdestruct, blank grey screen of death.

FJ please fix this!

The good news is:

(The vortigaunt is working his magic on your Airboat, so that you'll have a little more firepower when you're going forward! P.S. it'd be nice to build something based off the airboat... ;-P)

Getting to build up a tacticool machine, teaming up with others and wrecking your enemies is hands-down, and no doubt awesome. The building mechanics are well done. You can build almost anything, from supertanks, to fighter-planes, to flying boats, etc.! The block-building system is amazing; specially in battle, where you get to take out the guns of another bot, (generally rendering them defenseless) or mercilessly blasting them to nothing. This game is one of them that takes building vehicles to its finest. :D

Building - 10/10
Driving - 10/10
Fighting - 10/10
Server Trolling (Random Connection Problems/Errors) - -1/10

In Die More Edition there's...
...an environment where the player can focus (and get nervous).
...a mini-horror feel to it.
...an array of challenging enemies and fancy equipment.
...no music!
...and most importantly an experience that gets you to be used to scares (possibly jumpscares).

Check out Teleglitch DME today!

Although you may disregard the fourth feature, because there's a Guns and Tunes DLC for the game, allowing you to play it, with style, with a little action tune to help you consequentially enjoy this kind of an experience. With the DLC bought, the next thing you wanna do is disregard the second feature, because a good track with some extra gear will carry you through the dreaded, challenging environment of the game. This should help you ward off the memories and feels of the scaries. But don't take my word for it. There's still a few more things to come, and give you a little surprise from outta nowhere. Now please, play it. Because yesterday, you said tomorrow. So JUST play it.
