One thing that definitely stands out about NFS Unbound is the stunning visuals. The “Into the Spider-Verse”-style cartoon effects mixed with the realistic cars and races are simply amazing. I thought it would be an eyesore, but it actually works.

Unfortunately, that’s where the good things end. The style is beautiful, but the map feels lacking. The woods are sparse, the city areas are unmemorable, and the playground/“takeover areas” are, frankly, boring.

The racing itself feels nerfed in a way. The B-class cars feel way too slow, even though I managed to get some of them to hit 240 kph. I’ve read other reviews, and apparently, this was intentional so that S+ cars would feel faster. Even in the slower races, the handling feels off. I appreciate the effort they put into letting you tune your handling with the road/drift slider — it worked well in Heat — but for some reason, I just couldn’t get the hang of it here.

I did like the idea of meeting spots and being able to interact with rivals, but that’s where it stops. You end up racing against the same rivals every single time. Criterion could’ve at least expanded the roster, but instead, their cars are always ranked in the same order, no matter if it’s an A-tier or B-tier race. It gets very repetitive.

I must say, I enjoyed the races being split into classes, requiring you to upgrade your car to stay competitive. Except that this is the only way to stay competitive. Forget racing skills or talent — I swear some of the racers are hard-coded to win. Every time Waru was in the lead, he somehow managed to maintain a massive gap even when my car was significantly better. This unfortunately forced me to drive “dirty” just to win. And Justicia? She always seemed to win whenever I placed a bet on her.

Speaking of betting, I do like that system. Being able to win money from an internal rivalry even if you don’t win the overall race is a cool idea — but the payout is so low it barely makes a difference.

And that leads to one of the game’s biggest issues: the grind. The game is unbelievably grindy. Sure, they let you win cars, but they almost force you to race with those cars. Buying the car you actually want is nearly impossible without putting yourself hours behind in progression.

Now for my biggest gripe: the cops. I understand that balancing the cop vs. street racer gameplay is hard, but this is ridiculous. After every race, you gain heat. After just two races that give decent money, your heat level is already at 5. At level 5, the game becomes borderline unplayable. In one of my YouTube videos, I did five races and then had to evade cops for over an hour. It’s not that I’m bad at evading them — it’s that as soon as you lose one pursuit, another cop immediately spawns and starts another 20-minute chase. The “interceptor” cops are the worst — they speed match you no matter how fast you go, even at 250 kph. Outrunning them isn’t really an option; you have to outmaneuver them, which just drags out the chase and makes it frustrating rather than fun.

And I haven’t even touched on the story. It’s your typical setup: you start off with a cool car, your best friend betrays you, and you have to race your way back to the top to win it back. It’s fine, but it feels like it’s missing some heart. I did enjoy Rydell, the “millennial boomer,” though. The single-player mode is split into weeks, and you have to complete four weeks to win your car back. Unfortunately, I barely made it to the first qualifier because progression is so slow and grindy. The money you win never feels like enough, so you don’t get that satisfying reward for actually winning.

I didn’t even attempt multiplayer. As soon as I saw that my progress had been reset and I had to grind all that money again, I just quit. I have better things to do.

All in all, I wanted to love this game so badly. I really miss the Need for Speed series, and NFS Heat gave me so much hope — just for Unbound to shatter it.

This is an awesome game I can't stop playing it
BUT
I had a massive crashing issue. The game would crash exactly every 20 min.
I realised it was a NVIDIA Driver issue. So I just rolled back my driver to version 522.
Hope this helps someone and enjoy the game.

Portal 2 is simply amazing.

Portal 2 has so many great aspects such has, plot, puzzles, characters, physics and brain-aches.
The plot is well thought out with plot twists, character development (although Chell doesn't even speak) and amazing lore.
Charaters are strangely relatable. Wheatley and GLaDOS's arguements are increasingly funny.
Puzzles are challenging and will improve your problem solving skills. It will also give you a new way to preceive physics and actually learn.

All games have there flaws. With that said. I strongly recommend Portal 2 it's fun for everyone and you can even enjoy it with Co-op 9/10 will recommend.

Borderlands 2 is an incredible game with awesome features.

Borderlands has an action packed story line that will move you.
Hope you like explosions, because there everywhere from the biggest badass psycho to the tiniest scagg pup.
Their smartly name weapons that will endulge your imagination.
Playing with friends is a blast and may even be the best experience in gaming, fooling around, blowing stuff up and dualing each other makes this game extremly fun to play.

The Borderlands DLC's is also a must play. (Recommend Tiny Tina's assualt of dragon keep)

So if you're in to an amazing story, cool weapons, weird characters, vivid areas, fooling around with friends and Blowing stuff up and feeling like a badass. Then this game I highly recommend.
