I'm glad to see any content about sf, but it could be a negative review because of how many times I died at final boss (I didn't count how many times I died to random boxer after 1st boss fight and I have to START FROM OVER)

After about 1100 hours with Crosshair X (830 hours) and Hudsight Version 1 (350 hours) in Apex Legends, I chose HudSight, however both software options have strengths and weaknesses.

The main reason I switched from Crosshair X to HudSight, you won't believe it – the software's licence check at random times, somewhere around 2-3 hours after launch and using it in extension mode with Xbox Game Bar, which alt-tabbed from the game a lot at important moments. And also it has inputlag. HudSight isn't without problems. Somewhere around the 300th hour of use, I noticed that the software was causing 10-20% of FPS loss, because playing with 240 fps, I had it dropping to 120 at critical moments and after I tested turning crosshair off and on at different locations on firing range with FPS unlocked, I found out that FPS problem is not only in my computer and the game, but also in the software. If you have a good computer or not a high refresh monitor, I don't think this could be a problem for you.

I think this is the first reason why people don't want to buy this program. Even though I've been using V1 with a white theme for almost the entire time (because the dark one was horrible to use editor), I tried V2 and I didn't like it. The menu is terrible, it's just ugly and awkward, looks like a random IMGUI cheat. And about the editor... it could be better. Even though it works like a simple image editor, it doesn't have Ctrl+Z for "Undo" and Ctrl+Y for "Redo". I don't want to use buttons and eraser all the time. I don't know who uses "Scaling" for crosshair, it's in Kovaak's and in old games like TF2, because when you zoom in and out the crosshair gets very blurry. No one is using the Nearest method to keep the crosshair as clean. So for anyone who has trouble creating their own crosshair I recommend using Kovaak's Crosshair Generator [crosshair.themeta.gg]. It's a big plus that you can upload any picture compared to Crosshair X's limited editor, however Crosshair X has animated sights and layers, something HudSight lacks.

It's great that in V2 they added more modes to display and that there are Whitelist/Blacklist modes for the processes, hotkeys to turn the crosshair on/off, however, the second reason I think why people don't want to buy this software is the possible getting banned from the game. I looked at the patch note dated November 7, 2024 and in the last paragraph it says that "in the folder with the program there is a .txt file with the processes of 75 popular games with EAC that the program works fine with". Why would you add this somewhere in the program folder in the first place? What about other games with their own anti-cheats? Old games with outdated anti-cheats? For example: Overwatch 2, COD, Insurgency 1, DayZ, Quake Live, etc. That's why I haven't used the program in other games. If the developers want to further promote their product and not just for Rust, Hunt and Apex players, they should become more transparent with the customer, show more gameplay on YouTube with different games, add list with supported games on their website, store page.

I'm surprised that the developers respond to feedback from other players, because most of them are some kind of jokes and copium of Rust players with technical problems. I think that the program still needs another rebrand and the creation of V3, so I will briefly say what I think about the previous versions and what can be added in future:
1. Simple UI, looks good only with white theme
2. Terrible editor
3. Working functionality, but may not work in all games
4. Possible FPS problems

1. Horrible UI, V1 but worse. Lots of empty space, unnecessary tabs, opening the editor in a new tab, unnesecary links to hudsight's website when selecting display mode and etc.
2. Improved terrible editor, but still falls short of intuitive.
3. Improved functionality
4. Addition of Workshop

(my suggestions)
1. Make a good UI, the program will sell itself because of it. Add the most necessary information to your interface and the main thing is to make it work comfortable.
2. Add a list/table with modes and games and how they function with each other in the interface or on your site. No one wants to get banned, only a minority will play with windowed and borderless windowed modes, and no one needs another Xbox Game Bar extension.
3. Revamp the editor, seriously, just make it a mini image-editor, like a mini-paintdotnet.
4. Add support of animated sights with .wav, .gif, etc.
5. Optimization (I guess?)

I would be glad if the developers respond to my review :)
