Can't manage to get into the game to play with friends :(

I spent most of my time trying to get into online mode, and when i did my friends may or may not show up. If they don't show up you can't invite them to play. If they do, you can invite and assuming the party is formed, you can go on to attempt to create a game...which works about 10% of the time. Pray no one gets booted back to main menu during loading.

If I could play with friends i'd be happy, since thats the whole reason I bought this.
