Still a little pricey for amount of content, but if you enjoyed 2, now is probably the time to get into it. Not a ringing endorsement yet, but really getting there, very excited to see where it goes!

Ya like jazz?

This game slaps. Enough complexity to chew on without feeling stressful or tedious. I am still exploring and having a good time!

Preface: I am a die hard fan of Payday 2.

This one is interesting. I havn't spend enough time in the game to really give a full reveiw, only 3 hours so far, but from what I have seen, I am really excited to see where this game goes. When I first played the beta for this game I thought it was rather lack luster. Boring skill trees, bland heists, and bugs. Many of those opinons have changed. The bugs are absolutely still there, so if that bothers you, don't bother with the game. Obviously this will likely get better overtime, but you never know. The devs have made some minor tweaks to the unlock systems and skill trees that make it a bit more interesting, but there is going to have to be an overhaul down the line.

All that said, the games missions/raids/heists are absolutly fantastic. The choice of missions selected for the beta is confusing to me as I think they chose some of the worst in the game. If you thought the missions in the beta were lacking, this shouldn't be a reason to not purchase. There are quite a few heists in game that are sure to keep you entertained for a while and that is before you get to operations, a really ambitious and cool feature that I am exited to explore more.

Basically the game as of now is okay, but probably not worth the price. The thing that makes this game worthwhile is its potential. If the devs play there cards right here they could end up with something really special here. All signs point to the fact that this game is on track to be excellent, but if you want something fantastic right now, I'd probably stick with Payday 2.

Buggy as hell, Controls are a mess, and gameplay is shoddy at best.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME. I am primarily a strategy gamer and this manages to capture some of the greatness of a strategy game and bring it to a coop fps that really punishes you if you don't work together.

BE WARNED, IF YOU DONT SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON THIS GAME YOU WILL MISS MUCH OF THE DEPTH HERE! In the payday community there are 2 types of players, the ones who like the game for the first 50 hours or so, and those who continue on and learn about all the depth the game has to offer. THIS GAME IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY, BUT FOR THOSE WHO LIKE IT, IT IS A MASTERPIECE. (IT CAN BE VERY UNFORGIVING AND BUGGY)

I have mixed feelings about overkill, the company who makes the game. It is important to note that they are not often on time, and most of the original crew behind the game has left the company. The content the company pushes out is very hit and miss, but always worth around the time of a sale.
