This game really means so much to me, i'm going to be honest, it's the best idle game i've ever played, i suffer from anxiety due to my autism and i'm also an indie game dev and modder that i'm always into a project or doing something... No programming, level design, music or art activity comes close to relax me than this game does... You leave it open or close and open later to organize your plants and make your garden amazing.

The music is one of the key elements of the game, alongside the amazing pixelart and ambience... it takes you a safe place where you can be happy, where pixel plants, birds and cozy music calm you from any stress or external input.

I recommend this game if you really want to relax and do something different, this game means a lot to me and i hope a lot of people enjoy the experience of having an amazing digital garden that can be your safe place.

Blood Running is a game i find fascinating, it's one of those games that immerse you with the story and the universe itself, the music and art of the game it's just and instant sell... this game is pretty much alive and hard at the same time, gotta admit that even myself that i'm very picky with survival-action games, this game takes me some place else.

I do recommend that when entering to this game get the idea you are playing a very slow-paced survivalist game in a way, you can decorate certain parts of the game with assets you earn throughout gameplay, and you get usual trader interaction (purchasing weapons, items, etc)... with this in mind : the game has a lot of progression and reaching the endgame is time consuming, you are playing a survival game with an action oriented gameplay.

I've worked with Jesse before QAing his games, everything he excels for is in this game : gameplay, art and music... it's immersive as it can get... this is far away from Return as it can get... it's something very different, i recommend it 100% for a different ride than usual.

This review is negative until the forcing PSN account fiasco is removed.

Sony, you already sold the game to me... respect me... respect us the consumers.

Coming from Quake II: The Reckoning you would expect a decent expansion out of this, and for sure i expected it also, but it's not, the new enemies more than challenging are unfair, the new weapons can't be coded in the keyboard (forcing you to scroll through your inventory) and the music...well the music is good as you might expect from Quake 2, but it's not groundbreaking, and the story it's like Quake 2 itself, it's there to exist and that's it.

Gameplaywise it has some different challenges that puts you to think a little bit but more often than not you might get stucked ( i didn't get stuck in original Q2) so much you might use a walkthrough sometimes, not sure if GZ content can be played online i really don't know about this.

If you are maybe looking to do some coop in Q2 and you need this content or if you want to play more Quake 2 (counting you already finished the last 2 previous entries) go for it, but you are not missing much, the new enemies are pretty broken and i had to use god mode tons of times (even more nearing the ending of the expansion), it's unfair and frustrating to some extent.

If you are urged to play ALL the officials Quake 2 titles go ahead, if you are just playing the important you can skip this one.

I mean i gotta be honest, i played all the entire campaign (with all secrets), and then i decided to play Serious Sam First Encounter HD and within the first 30 minutes i understood what i disliked about this title! i'll be honest, the game is barely good or "almost" good, it starts very weird, the setting is pretty much weird and the first level of the game you will be asking yourself whether or not this game is being serious or sarcastic enough... but anyway you keep going and then you find the game has some good jokes on it!

You will be surprised of how much good content this game has, but of course it is scattered, i found myself struggling in normal within the first half of the game, then became motivated in half of the campaign, suddenly the music of the game improved, enemies got variety and the jokes keep the game upbeat in the rest of the campaign i've played it, but of course you will later then realize the game itself is structured weird enough with the checkpoint system, which i found it to be a double edged sword, sometimes i killed myself because i needed ammo and some other times i found myself angry because i've lost my ammo and health/armor points.

The story is very much a parody, but the only half serious story of the saga is Serious Sam 3 at best, so why to care? i honestly gave a lot of importance on how the story was handled in this game, but really giving retrospective this game has never been about the story... so why to give importance? ... i honestly i found out much contradictory about the giant planet but wasn't Sam supposed to be the last human? are there similar but giant creatures in the universe? isn't earth technically destroyed then why Mental planet is pretty much earth but post-cyberpunk? ... Yeah you start to think those small details but then you remember the story in serious sam saga is a joke in itself ( again 3 BFE being the only one kinda serious about it, and maybe the encounters), Don't give too much head to the story, enjoy it as best!

Game is optimized properly, no comments here, and the soundtrack is pretty much standard, you'll be surprised that Serious Sam composer Damjan Mravunac is behind this, the soundtrack is pretty much standard, sometimes it gets good in the end, but in general i found it standard.

The game is very unfair, prepare to maybe rage one time or two thanks to the checkpoint system (and this will affect you in the final fight of the game unless you do quicksavings, the fight itself was unfair in a lot of aspects)

PROS and CONS:
+ Has an acceptable gunplay, weapons are fun to shoot and are well designed
+ Art is good if we evaluate it as an animated game
+ Gameplay is pretty much the same including vehicles, nothing game changing but good
+ Music has some good tracks ( but specific levels, not in general)
+ Serious Sam as a character really pays off all the hours you in the invest in the game
+ I've never played in coop but i will assume the game in coop is fun like the previous games so it's good! (giving it the benefit of doubt)
+ Levels have great art and design
+ Characters have a great art but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is so childish at times!
- Checkpoint system is unfair, and some parts of the game are even unfair to you, therefore this game really disencourage to "keep trying" , not like SS3, and the encounters
- There will be jokes in the game that will just make you go "eh?" the game itself sometime tries to be childish, not sure if this is a joke by croteam or not, so you will really feel strange in some jokes and dialogues in the game
- Not all music levels are good at all, there will be levels you will be like "Really?" because of the same point i've explained in the previous paragraph, Childish , joking or not? not even sure
- The levels are very linear and odd structured at times, sometimes you can get back to get that secret you never found, sometimes the game will just block you from going back, sometimes the level itself has invisible and ilogical walls... like: you serious?
- Secrets may have the possibility of glitching, happened to me in 2 levels, tied to the checkpoint system i've mentioned

I recommend this game, play it in coop, don't mind going on Serious there isn't much challenge for it and the game itself is oddly structured, just play it in coop or solo in normal ( You will have enough challenge here, believe me) dont forget to save often if you are going solo and take care of the glitches (i've 100% the game with all secrets but the game didn't acknowledge 2 of them).

Never modded the game, i didn't "love it" as the other 3 SS i love so, i'm not sure i will, maybe if Steam workshop gets incorporated into the game, but that is just suposition.

Enjoy the game, just don't get stressed if you didn't manage to purchase it, get it in an offer preferably.
